4:40 Here.... I'm not the only one who reads all their deadAIM conversations muliple times?

Oh, I completely forgot about DeadAIM! XD I meant conversations on AIM that are literally dead. But I should go back and read the ones I have from when DeadAIM actually worked...good old days. Sigh.

If they did, the Disney ads would be replaced by Honda and Charles Schwab ads--after all, we are the people that actually earn the money that our kids are always trying to get out of us.

Morningstar, don't forget the AARP ads, lol!! Seriously, I belong to an Adult Neopians type guild, and many of our most active members have already experienced their children leaving the nest. One of our guild leaders just became a grandmother for the 3rd time the other day. There are many, many of us older Neopians playing online daily. Most of the time, I don't give many references or clues as to how old I am because I don't want to intimidate the younger players or make them feel weird.

HELLO??? Mr grundo go wake someone up!

It almost 11am here. Neopets is offline too long now.

Greetings from an insomniac (it's 5AM here) "tweeny" checking in with y'all tonight. I've strangled my computer several times this evening hoping Neopets will come back online. All to no avail. Blah. I'm glad to see a few other adults around...my friends roll their eyes when they find out I play Neopets. I bet they all secretly play anyway.

Some teens consider themselves rebels by partaking in illegal drugs.

Some teens consider themselves rebels by engaging in promiscuous activities.

Some teens consider themselves rebels by carrying concealed weapons and joining gangs.

I do something much more dangerous than all three of those things combined.

...I play Neopets.

(cue overzealous jocks wielding large blunt objects)

AH!!!

RE: Freaky Friday - On the other thread (Fess up) someone said you just right click and click on the "Foward" option in the menu. I did "play' and it still worked. Try it.

Ah, but somebody is actually there! Their computer screen is on -- Neo always turns off their computer screens if they're not in the office if past Neocams are to be believed. :)

I get strange stares from the parents of my daughters' friends--but her friends think I am too cool because I actually play--unlike their strait-laced parents--her friends are envious and say that they wished their parents would play.

But, I had to laugh--we were in a Borders' looking at the real life plushies--My daughter was oohing and ahhing over them when I picked up the lupe and said "Gee, this looks nothing like a real lupe." Some little kids looked at me flabbergasted--like how did I know that was a lupe? I just winked at them and smiled.

Welcome to PPT, my fellow insomniac. :D I have that problem too, especially with older friends of mine. I really don't care though, they wouldn't think it's stupid if they hadn't seen it now, would they? Unless they just automatically hate all cartoons, like some people do.

I decided to check the news, since I'm so bored...apparently 52 people were injured when a stack of cards fell. I found that kind of coincidental...sorry for the randomness. :P
