Re: Altador Cup [split #5]

None of mine have been counted either... I was supposed to be rank 8 today :(

I wish TNT would just make it so that our scores increased as we played them, so we'd at least KNOW that things aren't getting counted, and take a break until they are again or something. They did it last year, so they obviously could if they wanted to... sigh.

I doubt LD will be in the final four like I had been planning, so in order to reach my goal of level 9, I have to play 154 games (minus whatever they actually end up counting of yesterday) today. July 4th. When my family is in town. And I have to get up early for work again tomorrow morning. ........

Wouldn't that have been nice? {sigh}

For the record all of my scores are exactly the way they were yesterday, so I'm very short games, too. Maybe they took the script that updates them down to fix the glitch that has been eating all of our scores in the past several days? Who knows... o_O At the same time, we know they haven't lost our scores, or they wouldn't have been able to post the team wins, so I'm not worried about them not showing back up eventually.

And whee!! Go Shenkuu! Great job beating Darigan! (and consequentially putting Roo in or tied for first again).
There's a slight possibility of Haunted Woods upsetting Darigan, but the odds of Maraqua, Altador, or Tyrannia winning to the other top three don't seem to be all that great.
Therefore, unless something drastic happens, the play-offs will be: Roo and Darigan for the 1st place play-off, and Shenkuu and Krawk Island for the 3rd place play-off.

Time to go start putting in a large amount of games today to help increase my personal scores up to where they need to be (and of course, help insure that Roo wins :D)

Go Rooligans!!

Waiting for the personal scores is making me crazy! I was so bad at YYB last year that I couldn't submit a single score, and this year it took me until last weekend to get really good at it. I started tracking my wins yesterday, because I want to end up with a decent shield.

Guys... I'm really sorry if this isn't what you want to hear, but my scores *did* update today. (Unless I'm going mad and lost a day somewhere in the reckoning.) I only played 15 games yesterday but they are all present and correct, for once.

Fingers crossed that everyone gets the points they deserve. o_O TNT still owe me too...

LD still have a chance of getting into the final four, but only if KI do badly in their match against Tyrannia tomorrow (or Shenkuu do really miserably against Altador). Otherwise, it looks like we've got our finalists. Well done everyone!

I'm worried now, because I'm hearing that some people's scores updated and some didn't. Mine seems to have taken the middle ground - only 44 of some 87 scores went through. On the bright side, Shenkuu is pretty much definitely in for finals, that means more chances to up my rank :)

Some Shenkuu players are/were making a disgrace of themselves on the neoboards, really badly. Gloating as if they swept us. Shame on them really. Sure they won but by how much? A win in MSN? How much is that really? Credit for trying hard but gloating as if you swept the floor with us is offensing. Some even claim that Shenkuu are in 2nd! I admired Shenkuu a lot until this day. Not that they beat us, but because of the mass gloating.

Not all Shenkuu players are like that. For the vast majority of the tourny, we've been a humble little team. Right now, since we've worked our butts off, some of the... chattel... who've been riding our coattails are now coming out to brag. Most of those players don't deserve to claim allegiance to the team. I'm very sorry about the bragging - most of the more "established" players have been chastising the new people for the bragging. It's not cool. It's bad sportsmanship, plain and simple. Not many of the Shenkuu players, especially the ones HERE, like being painted with the same brush as immature braggarts.

Ditto,I've been going around to the DC boards and talking to them.

Matrinka, you took the words right out of my mouth. I doubt the players who really put a lot of effort into playing would brag that much - I'd like to think they'd appreciate how much the opposing team put in as well, to tie like we did. I'm sorry you had a run-in (of sorts) with them braggarts. Hopefully this won't destroy your impression of the team as whole.

Thank you :) . Although please read my post. The first 3 words I said were "Some Shenkuu players". I put the 'some' on perpose so people here don't think I mean you, so I never labelled you people that. Yes even the Shenkuu players were hating those players and were annoyed and were trying cover it up. I know how to speak, and be polite and I pay attention to my post and read it once before posting. 0:)

I know what you mean Karnatu, some of the people on the boards (no matter which team) are horrible, either insulting other teams or bragging. I try not to spend too much time reading the boards because there will always be something that either annoys me or makes me shake my head in disgust. :P Luckily for us we have ppt where we can talk about the matches and the results without a fuss. :P

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was very upset this morning because I played quite a bit yesterday in hopes that by the end of today I could get up to the next rank. Almost always my scores have been updated before I leave for work. So when they weren't up, I was scared there was some problem. I really hope they can sort this out soon. ;)

I decided to be risky and haunt the boards - apparently it seems that everyone with usernames starting with A-D got their points. I'd guess the script just got stuck after that? I'm sure TNT is out today for the holiday, so they'll probably have it fixed tomorrow.
For now...back to playing more games!

Re: Altador Cup [split #5]

Yep, I have a "c" name and it counted my points.

This morning, when I visited the Neoboards, there was a lovely long thread claiming that there's no way Darigan could have fairly tied with/lost to Shenkuu, and that it only happened because people from the other top teams conspired to join Darigan on side accounts and make them lose. You have to ignore the neoboards, because there are idiots from every single team making that team look bad.

Oh, good, I'm glad to hear the points seem to be username related. I have a "w" name, so I won't hold my breath for getting updated today, then.

24 games to go to level 9. I'm still trying to decide whether to kiss the rest of my evening goodbye and go for level 10.

Last year, after the rounds of the AC were over, people could still play for a while against the practice team (Jelly World). I really hope they'll do the same this year so that players for teams that aren't in the finals can still improve their rank and earn points.
