I seriously think this is it so far--we can't get on the boat just yet. Maybe we have to fight some more mosters first?????

Despite having finallly collected all 9 items it still comes up with the message "you can't use that right now" when I click on the capsized boat on the frong page. Is there something i'm doing wrong? Please let me know, and thanks

Go to your items inventory, pick up the thorns and click on the boat. Then just continue trying out every item until your boat is steadied.

First secure the ship with the vines

In the woods, my "bucket" was actually a grey flower pot (with a red flower in it). After I picked it up, I had a bucket in my inventory...

After reading that, I rechecked my maze and hovered my mouse over every flower and rock that I came across. No luck. =\

check yer inventory to be sure all 9 are there at times you just might get frustrated but it is findable.. I promise

Already did that, multiple times, and it still isn't there. Thanks for the suggestion though. (Even if it wasn't intended for me - I couldn't really tell if it was for those of us missing the bucket, or someone else.)

Think I'm just going to go to bed, I'm coming down with a cold anyway and shouldn't be up this late. Hopefully everything will be straightened out by tomorrow evening. Good luck to the rest of you who are missing things, hope they turn up soon.

ok I went through and mapped mine and I'm only getting 13 screens and all of my paths are marked. I've gone through and double checked my screens and they all seem to be right unless I'm making a mistake somewhere. And there's no exit!

anyone else having this problem?

I'm handing Rukumel a kleenex and some chicken soup!!! Maybe after some rest and some time away from the maze, you'll get it!! That's what happened to me on the last plot.

I really hope I (or anyone else, really) don't have to re-map everything tomorrow night because of some stupid glitch.

I actually wouldn't mind having to go through this step again. Nothing was all that difficult up until the unable-to-find-a-bucket part. I must have spent the same amount of time trying to find that darn bucket (in a cyclically redundant forest) as I have on all the other parts of this step so far.

I have eight of the items, but I'm stuck in the forest. Either way I go, I come to a dead end room with only one path. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

edit: I suspect my 9th item is in the other set of paths. I'm stuck in the set of paths above the ship, so I can't go search the set of paths to the right of the ship.

Have you tried another browser? (If you have one) I use Safari and mostly the tab trick doesn't work. I also use Firefox

For anyone who might be having a hard time finding all their items, have you checked both sets of paths? There's a set to the right of the boat, and a set above the boat. I'm not positive they really are separate paths, but I didn't find my tree branch until after I'd gone to the paths above the boat.

I can't even click on the second path (the right path). It's as though there's no link to it.

Maybe that's my problem.... >_>

I just finished my 3rd full mapping of it, and I'm sure I've figured out where the glitch is. I have one screen which only has one path out, but 2 lead to it. It's one with a black ominous shape hanging in the middle, between the trees. Reminds me of a big ugly spider or something. I'm positive that one of the paths leading to it, isn't supposed to lead to it. I've had all the things for hours now, and have tried in depth mapping, clicking at random, you name it.

Is anyone else who's stuck, using a mac?

I'm using WinXP, but I've also noticed the odd path links you've run across, Cookiemunster. I can't remember if it was the same page (w/the ominous black shape), though.

I'm not getting a path to the right of the boat, although it doesn't really matter; I've gotten all nine items and the boat has been reconstructed. Although it seems like, if this is the end of the step, we'd get some kind of confirmation like we've gotten before...

I too am stuck in an infinite loop. I wonder if there's a way to reset the puzzle?
