I feel old when I go to a middle school or elementary school and see all of these small people. Or when I'm at work as a TA , I see all the kids running around with so much energy--it makes me feel sooo old. I wish I had that endless amount of energy! But being older does have its ups and of course downs....ahhh....heh heh ^.^;;

Meep! XP

When I start thinking of the good olde days, the late 80's early 90's, where every toys had projectives or flame throwers, transformers was bigger than microsoft (XD), before the terrible era of boy bands, when New Zealand won the Americas Cup.

When I start feeling bogged down in all the responsibilities I have.

I dont feel too old..yet. When I hit 13 is another story. I do not want to be a teen. Or 12 or 11 for that matter. I was pleased being 10.

The things I liked as a pup are now retro. O.o I'm not THAT old, am I?

Or did my parents just give me really old things to grow up liking?
Probably both. :P

I never feel old. I don't have a driver's liscense yet or any of that stuff. If anything I feel too young. Thats how I felt as a freshmen but this year I hope things will be different cuz I'm gonna be a sophmore. Whoo hoo!!! It seems like in high school even sophmores are way older and more mature than freshmen because most of them can drive and everything. But once your a sophmore you don't feel so young anymore. That's how I look at it anyway.

oh man toys in the 80's rocked. the kept me occupied for so long, yet they were so simple too. and nentendo...they dont even make games for the blasted thing anymore but its still so awesome!

it just seems like as you get old things get more complex then they need to be. try being 19 and having a breakdown....stress sucks!

Man, you're just asking for a story!

The First Time I Felt Old

It was a bright summer day and I was at working. As I work as a Personal Care Attendant for two young autistic girls, we were taking them out for a day trip to the pool. As we drove through the New England countryside we drove past a horse farm. The girls grew very excited and shouted "Horsies!" at the sight of them. When the excitement died down, I turned around in my seat and said "You know I used to take horseback riding lessons at that farm when I was younger" as I turned back around I added the extra comment "You know I was about your age, Deanna, when I did that." Deanna had just had her 10th birthday and my 19th birthday was a mere 3 days away. A small shocked voice was heard saying "You were my age once?!" And at that moment, for the first time in my life, I felt old.

I feel that I have a powerful shield of youth because my birthday is very late in the year, constantly making me a year younger than most others. But what does make me feel old is seeing little kids play certain pieces better than me. Actually, that feeling is closer to hopelessness and inadequacy, but oldness is part of it.

What makes me feel old? The fact that I remember watching the last episode of Tiny Toon Adventures when it fist aired....in December 1992...almost 12 years ago...

That, and the fact that I watched Full House and Roseanne in prime time, and they're now on Nick At Night.

nothing much does that to me, I'm happy with my age. Course, I don't wanna grow up now, cause I'm 15. Everything is easy, but I get the maz amoutn of rights with minimum responcibility.....

On the other hand, shaving for the first time recently made me a little stunned. I really should give up pokemon >.>; Been playing it for 5 years. Oh well *orders FireRed/LeafGreen regardless*

Nothing in particular, except the fact that I have a bad back.

Nothing makes me feel old. When I remember tv programmes from the mid-nineties which aren't on anyway, I guess that makes me feel old. Oh and I also guess that the fact I can remember the old BBC 2 ident things, with the "2" logo, and when Top Of The Pops was on a Thursday, at 7, I think. [/rambling]
