There's nothing wrong with therapists, but I think that if you have multiples, you're screwed up in the head.
I haven't been watching the auditions. I wait until about the top 24 or whenever we start voting to watch.

I like Alaina Alexander, her Audition:

This is a really sad audition, and I think it's really sweet what he did for his wife.

I didn't like Alaina that much. :\ At the beginning of the song, she was just everywhere with her notes. It got better toward the end, but, I don't know...

Alright so I think I might be trying out next year!!!! Me and a friend are thinking of taking a road trip to San Antonio to audition, it sucks being one of the youngest people in your grade, but it's worth it. I would love to at least get into the top ten. I want to send a positive message to my generation and those younger than me, because I'm sick and tired of all these people thinking they have to be stick thin just to be successful in life.

It hope all works out :D

Paula Abdul's craziness, much as I want it to be that she's totally cracked out, could well be pain meds.

Most likely if she's in a lot of pain she'll be on codeine, co-codamol (which I think is Tylenol 3) or pethidine (Demerol) or dihydrocodeinone (Vicodin) and on reasonably high doses. These painkillers also act as tranquilisers a bit, which wouldn't help!

I have chronic pain and I don't take painkillers too often because I also have a really dodgy digestive system. When I really can't stand it any longer I take pretty high doses of either codeine, co-codamol and occasionally pethidine though pethidine is a bit scary. They don't knock me out but they do make me a bit weird, 'floppy'...it's kind of like the middle stages of being drunk.

The funniest one tonight was that guy who sang "Amazing Grace." OMG...I don't think he had any tone at all.

I liked the blonde girl from Texas who lived on a farm in a small town. I forgot her name.

I'm pretty sure that she mentioned she had chronic pain, there is like a specific name for it, but I don't remember what it is called.

The blonde girl who was all fashiony reminds me of someone from that group of girls in every high school that everyone hates so damn bad.

...But she was a good singer. Ish. And that's what counts.

Only person I'm really pulling for out of this group is the girl... what was her name? Ashley? Ashlyn? The one Paula/Randy said no to, but Simon asked back. I know the odds are seriously against her, but I hope she goes far.

After all the auditions, I really don't have any favorites at the moment. This season is looking, in my opinion, to not be very good talent wise. The real singers have seen how not-so-fantastic the Idol recording contract is, and everyone's mostly just in it to get on television. I think season 5 was the last good season we're going to get out of this show.

I have chronic pain, I just call it chronic pain. If there isn't a particular reason it's neuralgia.

I still want her to be cracked out.

Taylor Hicks won that season.

I think the talent stopped at Season 4.

Carrie Underwood is doing very, very well. :P Her debut album sold twice as much as Kelly Clarkson's.

As I posted on page 2

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complex_re ... n_syndrome This is what she's got. Which must suck, it certainly doesn't sound fun. In the past thats what her erratic behaviours been attributed too. But even Simon is giving her strange looks and is watching her a lot more then he used to.

Paula has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

Just because the winner sucked doesn't mean the season was devoid of amazing talent.

Except he actually had talent. He just doesn't have the 'superstar looks' or the amazing vocals like say...Kelly, Carrie, or Clay, but he's unique. He can sing and perform. How would the show look if someone like Katharine won? I mean she just pales in comparison to Kelly Clarkson, and even Fantasia! (Plus her album sucks. Sorry, but it does.) I still think the real winner that season was Chris obviously.

Anyways, it looks like two finalists are disqualified:

The guy in the San Antonio auditions - Akron I think has been disqualified for um...his record, and Ashlyn might be, it wasn't clear. Link

I'm tired of hearing Over It already. There's just something about her voice in that song that sounds off.
As much as I love Taylor, Hil's right. Chris was really good.
