Just noticed it - but does anybody else see that the headband is black in the happy pose, but red in all the others?

Edit: I definatly like the red better... but *giggle* maybe the bandanna has RUST on it?

Ooh, I dont care about cards, but those are nice to look at. Maybe they'll release an avatar for collecting cards to go with the fancy new look. They did say it was a good idea in an editorial a while ago, and poor card collecting really gets no attention.

I'd love an avatar for collecting cards... I'd definitely step collecting up, rather than just keeping avatar cards in my deck.

Same here. I usually get sad when pretty much anything is redone (except pets sometimes).

Oh I know the feeling! I played from 2000 to 2004 and came back recently with a new account and I was amazed at how many things were different. A bunch of new worlds, brand new Neopets and about a billion petpets. Startling.

I will miss the old cards too (they were a relic!), but at least they new ones aren't ugly

It is good to see that they are updating some of the older art. There are some old style things still floating around the site that need a makeover.


I was just thinking that the snowager needs a makeover. He could look so cool if he just got a few new pictures of himself posted. I know someone out there must be brave enough to approach him and quickly jot down a sketch.
Also, if they'd just look closer at his pile of treasure, maybe they'd notice a few new types of things in there for us to steal. I think he has had time to collect some of the newer items on the site.

I think the Snowager isn't that bad. But...look at the Terror Mountain/Happy Valley/Ice Caves maps. They have old styles of pets on there still (at least, last I checked). An old lupe stands right by the Terror Mountain sign. I wish that was updated!
