Yeah, I've been getting a lot of books in the Book Shop. Even if it is a glitch, we just bought stuff when it was in stock (which happened to be around every 30 seconds, but...); they wouldn't want to freeze people for that, would they? o_O

No, TNT wouldn't freeze for any of the buying that's going on now.

I wish I had a faster computer at home, but I'll admit one thing - this is going to be good training for when I want to start restocking at work again.

Oh hush all you people getting all this stuff! I can't be on the site right now, I shouldn't even be here...I was just accepted as a moderator on an image host forum, but it's slow right now, so I just have 2 windows open so I can hang out with all of you!

Gosh I wish I could rs and I really wish I wasn't on dial up! I need a meepit and green tentacle, also usuki zombie, reaper, werewolf and bat thing. And of course what everyone wants right not - a devilpuss.

I'll have to try later tonight, at least to see this new picture thing. What an excellent idea, to have to click a random pet! I'm crossing my fingers and toes that this finally puts a stop to the ab'ers.

It's CRAZY at the Igloo right now, everything you can make a profit on is sold out in about 2-10 seconds, although I've managed to get about thirty items from it since the one minute restocks.I like this :)

(The above message was written between four restocks.)

Ummm....

When the heck did these "press the image" to continue things start appearing????? :o

They weren't there afew hours ago.... this is SO SLOW if you want to haggle multiple times now like i do....

A note on the new system:

The images of the pets are placed randomly, and the image that you are supposed to select is also random, though it seems to be one of four or five basic species.,

However, the painting of the pet is different..."One of these is not like the others," yadayada. So if you're really hasty, just click on the pet that's painted christmas where every other one is ghost. This is especially important because sometimes the species that they want you to select is not actually in the image - but a differently-painted pet is. Select the different pet, and you'll be fine.

Figures this happens as soon as I splurge and buy codestones for all of my pets and am left with 50np total. ¬_¬ Hehe.
I don't think the "click the neopet" idea is so great, what if a newbie is shopping for food to feed their pet (and don't know about soup kitchen/omelette) and don't know every pet by heart yet? By the time they look up what an Acara is, their Shoyru Meatball is gone :P

It's a good way to learn 'em. Like teaching someone how to work the drive-through at Wendy's. We'd just toss 'em into the window at lunch rush, and have everyone else take off the headsets. Johnny NewKid became a pretty good cashier in about 15 minutes.

Woohoo! I'm rich! :D :D :D I can get about one item a RS, but the pictures are killing me.

Sat Jul 24, 2004 3:42 am

Argh. I just got shopwiz banned! That's gonna kill me!

On another note, I just found some mispriced items. This is awesome. I just hope it doesn't go on for too long, otherwise it will cripple the Neoconomy.

The kid can buy it off of the shop wiz.

By the way, isn't there a game that requires you to give the names of pets they show within seconds? Defender Trainer? I suggest all of you restockers play that game to hone your reflexes.

And, shapu, shame on you--throwing a kid at the Wendy's window at lunch time? Reminds me of the good old days when I was 15 and a car hop at A&W. Ah, I can hear the younger ones saying "What's a car hop?" Back in the good old days, young girls in short skirts would come to your car with a tray full of food. The tray attached to your car's window and you would eat the food in your car. People did it all of the time. It was a "treat" to go out to eat and eat in your car. Just imagine!!!!

Heh, I think this is easier than restocking on half price day. :P And, it's not as stressful (to me at least). :P

Actually, it won't be so bad. It'll cripple the economy for restockers, but that's alright - most of us have a lot of money to begin with, so our current money will become worth more (increased supply of products = lower prices, our current back accounts now have more items' worth of money in them). But it'll be hard to raise that much money in the future.

But then, a lot of us oldsters remember when TNT decided that every item below R80 should have twice as many items stock, a few years ago. And all of us professional restockers groused and moaned, saying it would cripple the economy, but here we are.

I don't mind it so much - who knows? The gamer could become the pre-eminent Neopian.
