Excellent... I'm glad I'm not hallucinating :)
I should really go to bed.

But you know what I realized? And I think is uber-cool? All of the stuff we did is, yes, in comics. Which is neat for somebody who doesn't want to do the plot, but wants to follow the story all the same.
Isn't that nice of TNT?

Very nice indeed! They did it with the LDP too (for people like me who just started blindly clicking their toomb without mapping at all and then getting hideously lost) and the Merridell war (for people like me who could only defeat the spyders ;))

Hopefully I'll be on the ball and strong enough for both segments of this plot (*standard disclaimer about probability of war happening and nothing being promised*)

Hi guys, the comic has now been updated for chapter 2. We learn something interesting at the end of it! :)

A note to let you know what worked for me.

Thu Oct 12, 2006 9:39 am

Because I had so much trouble "seeing" Bruno, I thought I'd let you know what finally worked for me in case someone else was having the same trouble. I couldn't get anything to work at the first moonlit room I tried, so I went to another one. I placed the mirror, chair, lamp post at precise coordinates (the ones listed) I believe my chair was at the 235,160 spot, BUT I had to move the food around the room a couple of times. I had gotten him to trip a couple of times but didn't see him. I hope this helps.

The new chapter was released yesterday about 3.00pm nst.

It has been discussed in the last thread and this one. :)

The comic is now following what we do in the plot. Which is a really nice change. As we saw the beastie in the cave, it was apparent who he was. :)

Oh, so now i know how sophie the witch came from. :)

I also had problems with the set up of "obstacles" until I moved everything to the second moonlit room... seemed to me like placement depended on the entrance position...

Maybe I just wasn't doing it right the first time ;)

Someone should put a note in the first post of each thread to read through at least the 2 previous splits before posting....

So much for the plot solvers being ahead of the plot

It's very enjoyable the way they are doing it so far. At the moment, I've got no complaints only kudo's to them thus far in the 5 comics and bit of a puzzle we've got going on.

I remembered something last night at work though - Does anyone remember when they said they where going to try to work Puzzles and War together with each other to give each party a little something?

Naw, I think this was after or something. I dont remember. I don't think there was much of a Puzzle to the Maraqua War.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but look at the discription on the explore page.

"The spooky halloween world! Who knows what evil lurks within these haunted woods! Read scary stories, embark on chilling quests, and beware the beast that lurks behind the tree..."

Beast = Bruno?

Naw, means the Beast in general. That description has been there for ages and the Beast more or less means "Spooky Stuff in the Haunted Woods".

Shouldn't have any refrence to our current plot.

That little blurb has been there forever, so it can't really be pointing to anything in the plot. It can't be Bruno, as he is in the cave.

This might be stating the obvious, but I had to refresh a number of times in order for Bruno to reveal himself. Maybe the front post could be changed to reflect the fact that it's not an instant response all the time?
