Ahhhh, smurf! I just found out that the classes my new school offers aren't very...good. Originally planned schedule at old school:

Concert Orchestra
Heath/P.E
Honors Art/General Music
Spanish (the second half of Spanish I)
Honors English
Honors Social Studies
Honors Science
Geometry I
And lunch, of course.

New schedule:
Elective/Band? (They don't have orchestra)
P.E./Elective
Adv. Language Arts/Beginners Spanish and Latin (one semester only)
Adv. Language Arts (yes...TWO periods of it, per day!)
American Studies
Adv. Science
Algebra 1 (again!)
And lunch. Woot.

I am NOT happy.

Career Studies/Civics
Academic History
Academic French
Two technology/computer courses, though I forget which ones exactly I took, heh... I think they're Computer Science and Technological Design

I haven't gotten my schedule in the mail yet, so I don't know when I have each class, and it drives me crazy whenever I think about it. Ugh.

5 lessons per week (1 lesson = 1 hour)

Plus, apparently, each subject gives up to 4hours of homework per week. So that's up to 16hours of homework per week :o

It's a social studies class, if that's what you mean. The class is about the US Constitution, the branches of government, how elections work, etc. Nothing too special; I'm taking it only because it's a requirement for graduation.
