Yes from what I have heard it is from another plot. It has been there a lllloooooooooooooong time.

You know they MIGHT go to Maraqua but I think they might go somewhere on the surface first then take the plunge. Though the way it looks is that where they end up is totally random. We never get an exact reason at to why they went to a particular place. I guessed they went to Faerieland so they could be above everything and look down and possibly be able to see Hoban. Though thats a bit far-fetched. :\

Faerieland doesn't orbit Neopia, that I know of. I get the impression that it's pretty well geo-synchronous. That being the case, They would be better off going up into one of the space stations in a rocket ship if they wanted to visually scan the planet. But that is unrealistic, even for a flying ship. They would have to stay up in the space stations for over a week to give a reasonable amount of time to look down for him (although telescopes seem pretty rare in Neopia. o_O

Oh I know I was just saying they could possibly fly around the borders of Faerieland and look down for him because he fell (jumped) off in the general area and depending on how high up FL really is they would have a very good sized radius to look for him.

o_O gah just my crazy guesses.

Wouldn't the Captain have said something to that effect if that was the case?

haha! well when they were on KI or MI there was no reason given (except they went to KI b/c they couldn't make it to MI). Plus we have NO idea what the heck they are even doing out at sea in the first place/ where they came from/ where they plan to go. I think TNT jsut wants this plot to focus on looking for Hoban that is the main mystery and the rest is just background. The background might come but very slowly.

You make a good point. The Captain didn't say their motives. Maybe they're on a secret mission to deliver Hoban somewhere. They have to get Hoban back, or else they will be in dire straights. ;)

Well thanks ryan! 8) :D And you know your point is a good on too...perhaps he took something that they desperatly need/want and they need it by a certain time or they will be cursed...nahh :P . I do think he took something important though....his skill¿

They seem to be navigating perfectly fine without Hoban o_O Did they even need Hoban in the first place? :>

Maybe Hoban isn't their navigator at all then!!!

Perhaps they're actually a crew of undercover spies trying to deliver a dangerous convict (ie: Hoban) :P

Probably not, but they're not giving us a whole lot to work with!

lol that would be funny :roflol:

But yeah seriously, I wonder where it will turn up next. o_O

Maybe due to the lack of a qualified navigator they'll end up somewhere ludicrous like Geraptiku?

Maybe Linae is the real navigator?

They've already been to Mystery Island.

oh my god! everyone inventing theories, every one more crazy than the last... i'm getting really sick of this plot!
why won't they just give us something to do??
WHY GOD, WHY?
We could be assigned to, in groups of 5 players, swab the deck, or maybe take out the water inside the ship.
and in the meantime, we could get cool items
or not
maybe we could do it just for the kicks
maybe alot of conspiracy would be avoided...
