Sily Sicily, I agree with you about the avatar. For all we know, the Chef Bonju avatar could be like the avatar from the LDP, where you had to do atleast some of steps to get it. I wouldn't be surprised.

Ah, but that's assuming there WILL be steps. From the looks of things, the comics are the steps and we'll just have to answer a question at the end - "where is hoban?" maybe.

Please no... that would be the most boring thing ever. :s

Fri Aug 18, 2006 5:32 pm

Yeah, I really wouldn't be happy about that...

Is my sense of time off, or have they stayed at Faerieland longer than Krawk Island or Mystery Island?

Fri Aug 18, 2006 5:44 pm

It's not just you, I noticed that too, I just wasn't sure whether or not to point it out  Why stay longer at Faeryland? Because they felt like it? Or is there meaning?

Fri Aug 18, 2006 6:38 pm

er... maybe they're trying to figure out what the magical blue plushie does?

hey, have you noticed that if you click the plushie, it goes "..."?

Maybe there IS something to do, but we can't find it on the ship, I looked at the source codes and tabbed all the pages, so I'm stumped...

well i think that linae is the one who started the storm and is using hoban as a distraction to get something. And she has probably some strange magic powers to allow her to do this stuff because they never specified wat exactly is she good at and wat she does on board

Maybe they're staying in Faerieland longer because there's something more we need to do... or am I just being too hopeful?

Hopefully as we get the chance to speak with more of the crew there will be more consistancies in the story as well.... so far it seems that everyone has their own skewed opinion of events :S

I don't know if I'm right or not but i got this Hiku today:

Usable chaos
deprives, irritating wind
departs or jumping.

and seeing how its given hints about the plot before I came up with 2 theories
1. the boat is leaving tomorrow and will continue to fly
2.Hoban jumped of the boat using the storm or "usable chaos" to "departs"

what do you think?

I figured they were just there longer because TNT wants to release a new comic each week. We got the Chef's comic this week, when they were at Fairyland. Now we wait until the weekend is over for next week's comic. Wasn't it obvious?

As for the slow moving plot, I just realized something. TNT always mentions about how they want more and more people to be involved in the plots. Maybe by making it super duper slow (and by sticking the ship in Fairyland...a place that is visited quite a lot, I'd imagine), more people will see it and realize that there's something to do. Plus, I recall a lot of people complaining about things like the Altador Cup which they couldn't participate in because they were on vacation. Maybe TNT decided to make this plot slow so that vacationers could catch up and not miss out/be so behind? Just a guess. (Of course, this helps those people, but does nothing for us others)
