I'm not sure if I believe in Ouija boards. I did it when I was younger, but I can't remember what happened. Like many people I've heard stories, but then again I've heard stories about Bloody Mary and she's not real....
I do believe in ghosts. I don't know why, but I do.

I honestly don't know if I believe in ghosts. I did have an experience with one, though, but I still have mixed feelings. I try to tell myself ghosts don't exist, but it's like something nags at the back of my mind telling me that they do.
Ouiji boards... well, I don't know about those either. I usually get a bunch of weird answers when I try to play with one. I'll ask who is there and it'll go over the sun face, so I re-worded it and it said "UWT" Annitials, maybe, I don't know though, could just be my own hand moving it.

Is Hampton Court in Utah? Because there are at least three ghosts in one of the courts in Utah. I don't know what it's called, we always called by the Castle. There are two little kids and the first non-Mormon mayer of Utah in there. My dad worked there, and saw the kids (not sure if he saw the mayor) but a friend of his definately did.
And, yeah. I do believe in ghosts. In one of my old houses in my parents bedroom (mine was linked to theirs, and they left their door linking ours together open) there was always a shadow shaped like a man in one of those top hats every night... never failed. Sometimes he was by the computor, sometimes by the piano... and then one night a saw a lady in one of those old fashioned dresses and a college student in a football costume thing. They didn't have red eyes, though, so I guess they were all right.

Meh, Ghosts are possible and at least semi-existable, so I suppose I believe they exist.
Sun Jul 18, 2004 10:33 pm
I'm not quite sure if I do or not. I suppose I believe in the possibility, but it's not a definite belief. I am rather jumpy/easily scared, though. Perhaps that has to do with my "semi belief". ;P

Yes, I do, because I see them. -_- I don't like it very much. It's family members, but it's still creepy.

Sample Question: What's the best color in the world?
Ouja Board: *Moves towards random letter, let's say T*
Person Playing: Oh, maybe it's going to be Teal! *without realizing, pushes the moving-part of the board (not sure what it's called) so that it does end up being teal*
Or something like that.
I don't believe in ghosts, but then, I'm a skeptic by nature.
If that si what happens, why does everyone say their dangerous?
Simple... They want to believe they are, so they make them say bad things. Maybe things that will happen anyways. Like...
You have an old ill dog.
Q-When will my dog die?
A-Soon.
It was going to happen anyways, and subconciously the person who asked the question knew it. So, when the dog died they blame it on the board, tell people that if they don't want their dog to die, don't use it, and it gets the reputation of being dangerous and dog-killing.
As for ghosts... No. I believe things beyond our ability of vision and comprehension exist. These "forms" can make something float, be seen or heard, felt, or moved.

i see ghosts all the time;
my dog (max) a shadow of light (i hope you get my meaning) usually in the kitchen, but sometimes hes at the top of the stairs.
my Aunt (fay, hehe a ghost called fay) at the bottom of the stairs mostly but sometimes in the kitchen (stealing teaspoons again i immagine)
the..other one, a black shadow always at the top of the stairs, a mere sighting of thisn fills me with dread and loathing, im just hoping its not a Wraith (usually appear in a place where great death occured, or more worryingly will soon occure, usually mind, mighnt be either, may just have the hots for me or something)

Whoa... weird. The time before the time we last went to Utah, we saw they condemned the house I saw the ghosts... I don't know what happened, though.

hampton court is in greater london, and was home to henry tudor VIII, a couple of his wives snuffed it there, as did a few people who werent if ya get my drift.
i have another story on hampton court which i shall recite here. (its totally irellevant by the way) so i'll tinyfy it.
the year is..i dunno 99 i guess, my school year was studying the Tudors.
a field trip is planned to hampton court, but is later canned for fear the IRA might attack so they plan a trip to the mary rose...which is stationed in a military naval base.
me and a friedn go to hampon court anyway, and get nothing, however there is a bomb scare at the naval base.
however some ghosts are simply forms of energy.
"orbs" for example appear only over lay lines, which are slight faults in the ground, its been discovered that they are a strange form of energy that are emmited from such places, and not supernatural, just "really really weird"

The ghosts I see usually have all been family members, and since they all looked pretty happy, I assume they
are angels. Malicious spirits
do exist, however.
I can sense ghosts all the time, but I only see them sometimes when I'm very drowsy or very frightented. If it's a good spirit, I get chills and I have this heart-clenching feeling that somebody is there. If it's a bad ghost, I feel like I'm freezing and I go into convulsions. It happened at Gettysburg when I saw a dead soldier. My friend had to help me back on to the tour bus.

ghosts and angels are entirely differant.
angels are related to daemons, both of whom are the physical manifestations of thoughts and actions (despair, lust, determination that sort of thing) which is plausible given that humans show BASIC psychic powers (no, not bending spoons or tarot reading etc, but the ability to "sence" danger, a form of empathy, and a rare few show precognition (me included) though it never shows anything usefull, and hasnt actually been shown that its not just Deja-vu (caused by a momentary lapse of information from the brain)

No, I do not believe in ghosts. I don't really believe in angels, either.
Though I believe in Moaning Myrtle, the Bloody Baron, Nearly Headless Nick, the Fat Friar and the Grey Lady.
(And I believe in the UGWG who resides inside of my default LJ icon!)
