EDIT: The site itself didn't work or didn't calculate correct? Make sure you have the Sleeper (V-shaped) constellation, and the exact coordinates. Double check with your actual Telescope or the Constellation Finder. I found the star map had stars too close together on mine, so make sure.

I think the numbers are right. The x co-ords are neatly 40 apart, as they should be, and the y co-ords are 30 apart in two matching sets (for the two eyes). The other option is that, if Atrus returns 6,9 too, that you're simply in the right room but missing a book.

It say's mine are 18, 18...but no book. I've done everything and I checked my math a couple times while also using a Finder. O_o Where is my book?

Hello. You say you've tried a constellation finder, which one? Have you tried Atrus' (in the first post of this thread) which also works out your room number for you? Have you tried tabbing through the room rather than trying to find the clickable books by sight?

'Kay. You've checked that the URL for your spellbook room says arcx=18 and arcy=18 in the right places? I'm assuming you have. You might want to try going back through some of the steps since the last constellation, making sure you haven't missed any continue buttons. In particular, revisit your telescope, refresh your star data and see if that finder still comes up with 18,18. Let me know how you get on.

My next suggestion would be to use a browser that automatically opens all links on your spellbook room page. Avant does this, as does Firefox. That way you can be certain you've searched absolutely EVERY corner of room 18,18.

Besides that, the only other thing I can think to suggest is do it the old-fashioned way: go methodically through all rooms with co-ords divisible by 3. But you'd be the first person that I know of to have to resort to that. :/

I can't speak for Avant because I've never used it. Firefox I can wholeheartedly recommend. The website (http://www.getfirefox.com) says it's a 5MB download, which shouldn't take more than a minute or two on broadband. The spellbook room links will launch instantly in their own tabs, not new windows, so you won't have to wait donkey's years for the program to relaunch for every new window.

Oh, the other thing that crossed my mind is to check you CLICKED on the picture of the Darkest Faerie in the book and went out from there the proper way (Continue - Archivist - Archives lobby - Archives - 18,18).

hi there just wanted a bit of help to see if i have added these up correctly. i have alot of negative numbers here and they all confuse me, even while i was in school i didnt get them ! would someone mind checking for me and seeing if i'm correct? here they are:

-113, -247
-73, -277
-33, -307
7, -307
47, -277
87, -247

i got 15 and 15 2nd time around, before i had 9 and 13! i think these may be wrong i couldnt find anything on the pages!! but if someone wouldnt mind checking it'd really narrow it down for me.
