2006/Y8 Altador World Cup! (Split 10)

This "world cup" game is really distracting us from altador plot games (so we forget about rioting) isn't it

imo losing 2 hours previous day meant a lot especially for people who can online at that time... they should have refunded it with another 2 hours or something today...

Since everyone is sharing their # of wins, I got 100 for the LD. I had more than plenty of time to get many, many more, but I didn't care too.

On an important side note, if/when LD loses this round, I will vow help take Roo all the way to the finals.

Did anyone have the patience for more than 100 wins? That's so long playing that game, and now it's really boring to me :roll:

If Darigan loses to Meridell I'm going to Haunted Woods if they're still in after this round. I don't want to join Meridell. Fought with Darigan against Meridell and it just seems odd to support a place I fought against in two wars. :lol:

I got 12 wins for Mystrey Island which is better than my one draw last round.
I find the game can get a bit boring after a while i also found i do worse the more games i play. I still win but only just.

Unfortunately I only sumitted 20 wins this time. Life events happened (my lawyer was actually murdered!) :roll:

and I found the site being down for so many hours and the numerous Cup glitches and such actually deter me from playing much more than I wanted. Then Round 2 ended seemingly abruptly and for that matter, this is almost getting a little boring to be honest. It is more fun to root for a team than actually play this game anymore (especially without a NP reward). Sigh.

EDIT: However, if they got rid of Super-Goalie AHEM TNT, I might resume my usual enthusiasm for this game.

I have no incentive to improve myself, my score, my effort for my team even, if I am never allowed to push myself beyond 9 goals. I won't even risk it now, knowing the other team usually grabs that ball and pitches it in for a single goal, while I attempt in all futility in my last seconds to get beyond Mr. Uber Goalie.

EDIT 2: Apologies in advance for the mini-rant. I see this all as a very lame attempt by TNT to 1) Assure that users are encouraged to login every few days or less (else they would miss the beloved world-reknowned Cup among other new events "not worth missing" -- you have no idea how many trades I watch expire after 14 days, at least half or more do not login for that long sometimes); and 2) Assure that those that DO regularly login to participate in plots and other things that advance rapidly, will continue to do such with the promise of some future virtual reward, that may or may not be "satisfactory" to us in hindsight. :evil:

Sorry PPTers, I will rant/vent my love/hate TNT frustrations elsewhere. :oops:

I got 85 wins, if we lose I will go to krawk Island, and flying lizard, you guys are really putting your all into and i have to say I really respect Krawk Islands enthusiam, and from the neoboards it looks like you guys are really pushing us.

I only got 30 wins. I'm really good at the game and I won every single time but I just didn't have the stamina to get any more wins. Even if I had the time I probably wouldn't do it.
