I've said it over and over but apparently you missed it... team. My theory is that most everyone is on a team, and it's team vs. team instead of good vs. evil... so yes, there could be two evil vigilantes.

That would be correct. I don't think it matters to say that, because he's dead and it's not revealing anything new, but if it is, feel free to yell at me.

Thinking about it, it is possible for there to be an innocent team in the mix, but it can't be very large, and it definitely can't be all the innocents versus all of the evils, because that wouldn't be a very fair (mathematical) match up, with the amount of baddies in the game. So I'm still sticking with my team vs. team idea.

The choices are obvious.

And along with that theory comes explicit bandwagons that won't cease because we know that if this is a team game, that absolutely no one has any reason to vote for anyone other than the "You're not on my team approach." That will be all that happens. I'm sure Scott knows how those games turn out, so I doubt he did that.

Not really... why would he make us decide who won if this was some regular game? Look at the people that have died and tell me honestly that you don't think there's anything special about this one. As for voting, there would be strategies. For example, finding out who the powerful baddies are compared to the not so powerful baddies. If you get the choice between some person that can barely do anything, and a werewolf... who are you going ot vote for?

What I said about team games is correct. I've played in them, I've hosted them, they're massive bandwagon fests unless the players aren't told who their teammates are (and even then, bandwagons ensue, just not only on the basis of "you're not on my team!").

Clarification: Mafia protector DOES imply protection FROM Mafia Attacks.

*shrug* Doesn't mean it's the traditional protector role, as mine is not the traditional vigilante role. I'm sticking to my theory.

If I were evil (hypothetically, because I am, of course), I would have these type of people on my team, would I not? (and I've confirmed nothing).

I wasn't tellin y'all to unvote her but the idea seems reasonable enough and it explains a lot - and it reminded me of another foolish death in LotF so didn't want history to repeat itself for the same reasons
