That was so sad. :( It was worse when Piggy died, though.

*sheds a tear* Ah well WEREWOLF!

The problem is, the same thing is going to happen the next night (making it even worse for the innocents), and the night after that, with the chance of hitting an innocent either slightly decreasing by the more innocents killed, or it GREATLY increasing with the more baddies that are killed, so if baddies die tonight, or a baddie and some innocents, then we're going to be in the exactly same spot as we would be at the beginning of the game, which, in retrospect, makes it pointless to even have a no execution unless late in the game when innocents have the upper hand (which they don't right now, as it's an even battleground).

I've gone on about this a million times and have found nothing useful about delaying what our job as innocents are, unless there is some tactical advantage, which there is not here.

Also, if a person votes no execution on day one, and is actually against executions on day one, would it not also be hypocritical to vote for anyone on day two or three (unless, as I said, a dream comes along, or a role reveal)?

Edit - Also, Scott didn't say random voting was bad, he said that voting for things that are not in the game is.

But the most horriblest feeling ever is being killed first day when you didn't deserve it. Reminds me of everyone killing Simon in LotF...

You would feel even better being ousted for the exactly same reason the next day, just because people felt sorry for you the first (so, in turn, you are being ousted on Day 1, sugar-coated as Day 2)?

That brings me right back to when I said that it was like werewolves not attacking for a night because they felt bad killing people. Do baddies ever actually do that on purpose? They don't. Do some of them sometimes feel bad about the first person they kill? Yes, and as have I on many occasions.

The point is, feelings shouldn't be the basis as to whether or not we have an execution, as someone is going to be vehemently voted on the next day with as much reason as the first day (which is probably little to none). It's too late now, but I want to see how many people jump up and vote for someone tomorrow (after voting No Execution today). Then again, if someone actually finds something out, then all the more power to them, we actually have proof.

BTW, Simon's death was so much worse that Piggy's. D: (then again, I liked Simon and disliked Piggy. xD)

No way. Piggy had his skull bashed in with a rock on purpose. They only killed Simon because they thought he was the beast (aka, Jack is a moron).

Awesome. No votes while I took a nap.
Yes indeedy, I didn't want people to vote for "The Others" n' such.
As for the strategy of Day 1 executions (whether to or not) tis a long and hard debate that will probably never be resolved...

But always fun to hear the arguments pop up every game though :P

Although I must add the LotF tangent is interesting :P

I must say, you totally just ruined LotF for me. And I was just about to read it.

SHAMEFUL.

But... Piggy went so quickly, while Simon had to go out in a long (well not long, but longer) bout of pain and stabbing and... and... Piggy had his head bashed in and then *poof* he was pretty much dead (though I wouldn't say it was "less painful")

Simon went out like people that are killed by the wolves or mafia do. D:

*cries*

Now that I think about it, isn't the game of Werewolf like LotF (minus the werewolves and gun-toting mafia)? D:

Scary isn't it?

(I know you want to show your anger toward Jack, let it out!)

Edit - Seriously, Matt? Too late for Spoliers now. x_x

(Watch the movie, it's more interesting. D:)

Yes, seriously.

But I got bored after the first 20 pages yesterday. So, maybe it is for the best.

"Ahh... good to see I can have my normal relaxed first day of work. The No Execution vote gets the majority. And That's how it shall be."

As Scott walks away, a strong jolt shakes the island. "Hm. That's never a good sign."

Night 1 begins

:o The next Werewolf should so be Lord of the Flies themed. Please, Scott, please. I beg you.

(I know you want to show your anger toward Jack, let it out!)

I did... I edited my post, however, because it seemed odd; I was apparently saying "aka, Jack is a smurf". Gotta love those filters.

And Matt, the book sucks anyway, so no need to read it. :)

First night bars nothing. Death rolls in as if nothing had changed. As Scott goes through the room checks, he notices that in the first room he checks, a room is empty. With nothing but a thin ash lining all across the room.

"Uhh... it looks like that KUGETSU has been reduced to soot... Luckily I see the remnants of the hilt of a knife... Seems a cult member has died."

The next room provided a body, making identification much easier.

"Well. This isn't too bad... I suppose. Makes my life easier. There's THE_DOG_GOD with a bullet wound through his head, definitely from a handgun. Unfortunately, I see a rifle next to his body... telling me that we have a Vigilante dead. Pity."

Of course, it wasn't over. Another body was found in the next room... rightly thrashed by claws (one would say... werewolf claws!): DIVINE. A stockpile of protective magics fizzle in the air. "AH. The Mafia protector... definitely not good."

A rocky night... Yes... but... that's how the cookie crumbles.
DAY2 begins!

(I'm happy to note that EVERYONE voted for Day1! Yay!)

Heh, kugetsu died, funny.
Another note bad day for innocents all good roles dying left and right, but one good note, everyone actually voted...so thats like a first.

Tue Jun 13, 2006 2:58 am

Hm. On the bright side... cult member down! On the not bright side... vigilante and protector down. =/ Not as horrible as it could be... but pretty darn horrible. ._.

Any leads?

Tue Jun 13, 2006 3:07 am

Well... at least we now know of four possible baddie teams.

Ash = ? (Possible pyromaniac. Not something I've seen before...)
Kugetsu = Cult ('Rah! One baddie down. And the cult is a dangerous team, too.)
Bullet = Mafia, possibly? I doubt it was the Vigilante, because A) TDG probably wouldn't have shot himself and B) most vigilante shots usually occur during daylight and also C) Vigilante had a rifle, the shot was from a handgun
Claws = Werewolf claws.

Bad thing about losing TDG and Divine, though. :(

Tue Jun 13, 2006 3:11 am

Ouch, four baddie teams, one of them's cult? Seems unlikely.

Or it means there's the possibility of some damn powerful innocents to even things out?
