2006/Y8 Altador World Cup (Split 6)

I am too lazy to write out reasons for my choices, but here are my quick predictions (bold means winner )

altador vs krawk island

kiko lake vs. brightvale

darigan vs. terror mountain

mystery island vs. faerieland

haunted woods vs. kreludor

virtupets vs. lost desert

maraqua vs. meridell

roo island vs. tyrannia

I absolutely suck! my practice games I lose 6-0, and 3 of those points are from when I accidentally throw the yooyou into my own goal...

I think the best way for me to support Mystery Island is to sit in the sideline and give the other team the evil eye.

I already mentioned this, but there's still an effective method of snatching the ball at "kick off". Just click where the ball is once the match starts, which will send your front player there.

No, actually, I see the logic. Darigan is more popular than Terror Mountain, and for all the talk I see from my fellow supporters on the Neoboards, I can't say for sure that everyone's going to live up to their potential.

Alright...problem. I started off on Darigan, then actuallyed played them and saw how bad that team was (I'm all for Darigan but dang they're slow). I switched to Terror Mountain, and even played as them against the practice teams.

I just went to try and play (saw that it's Darigan vs. Terror Mountain) and I'm back on the Darigan team... Wth happened there? I wanted to be on Terror Mountain. Now I can't play against them, for one I'll lose terribly, and I don't want to beat the team I want to be on. Beautiful...

So far i ve won all 4 games against Mystery Island. I run circles around them cuase they are so sssssslllllooooooowwwww.....

You can always lose a lot and submit and then if terror mountain makes it to next round join there team. B/c you can switch b4 each round. Probably being on a winning team the longest = better prizes. Be a saboteur

I think it's because you can't switch once the tournament starts and it has (check front PPT )

And it's only people who haven't chosen a team yet that can still sign up/choose a team but once chosen, you stick with it. No more changing allowed.

I don't get how these seedings work, but ok. i just handily won my 3 games for faerieland. but i hope we make it all the way!

Call me sinister, but what if you just... lost a lot? Then you'd still kind of be playing for terror mountain. Although, thinking about it, especially how scores are not automatically sent, i wonder if they are only counting win or if losses actually hurt the team of what [ponders]

Bah! I feel gor you, I started on Faerieland, switched to Kiko Lake to try them out, then to Maraqua since my boyfriend is on it, but it set me back to Faerieland where I originally started practicing. Oh well, good thing I don't actually care and I seem to score "average" on whatever team I am on (about 4 to 6 goals per game without letting the other team score too much, about 0 to 2 goals). I don't even know how TNT can get us to play so many games without rewarding us any Neopoints!

NEWS: I don't know how anyone could prove this, but apparently the most you can score for your team is 360 per round. Like I said, it's probably just a rumor but it's worth mentioning here.

I'm trying to get everyone who is supporting Faerieland to win 10 matches even, or at least 5. I know that (no offense) we've probably got a lot of eight year old girls who don't want to play and only support Faerieland for the colors, but I think that we've got a fighting chance! All we need to do is show up Mystery Island this first round and we'll be good.

Sorry for those of you who support Mystery Island. I was really hoping it'd be Faerieland vs. Kiko Lake or Kreludor this round, but I guess not.

Oh, and I'd love to see the winner of Krawk Island vs. Darigan Citadel, just for kicks.
