Did you remember to click the Darkest Faerie's flame that's in the room with the Archivist? Because I know someone who forgot to do that.

mutating: I'm 99.99...9% sure that that's not the case.

That's good! when do they usually stop the plots then?

Not sure, but at least enough time so everyone in the world has a decent chance in completing it. Which I would alomost be certain would be no doubt at least a days worth.

Talk about run-on sentence! Wow, I can't believe i took that all in!

Using a text editor and a calculator i formatted my star data and used search & replace runs to make my whole star data one gigantic sequence. Unfortunately, in the beginning they use | as a delimiter, later on it gets very vague with ! and # and : as delimiters. I just cut off the last part to see if i got near the magic number 29884.

The fact i cut off the last part doesn't matter since i made all star data integers. So it would have been more, not less. The number which came out is 1,330,680. The real number is a bit higher than that ofcourse, since i didn't calculate the complete sequence. But the magic number is definetely NOT all star data calculated as integers.

I'm gonna try to keep negative as it is and keep give it a 2nd try.

I did the same using FP but the outcome is -13821. Also, i couldn't use the whole sequence so this is not very useful.

Make sure you click it in a gear, then click it again so the gear doesn't show the rock there. Go back to the quarry and click an area behind the Jubjubs. You'll be able to take the rock in the bottom right corner. Also click where you threw your rock to distract the Jubjubs. If you need more help, just ask again :P

EDIT: Are anyone else's times posted on the forum an hour behind? O_o

What a great finish - this is the first plot I've been able to be on for the end of since Neopet v2! Thanks to everyone for all their hard work!

Sat Jun 03, 2006 5:45 am

Now what was the point of this plot? To keep us busy? xD

Sat Jun 03, 2006 5:45 am

Finished the plot! Wee! :D Thank you so much PPT and PPT-ers for all your help, you're the best! *tackle!grouphug*

Well, finished another plot, a little late thanks to dinner happening just when 29884 was found, but not too bad. Thanks to all, especially those heroes who provided the constellation mappers  and to the mods for keeping things so orderly and well mannered. 8)

I finished the plot much to my surprise but much thanks to PPT and cie. I stayed silent most of the times being able to follow instructions and not panicking.
This plot was fun., thanks to TNT.

Hmm that was pretty stupid since that included all stars. I started to calculate manually. I got 4 of the 12 constellations calculated using integers (!) and am already at 25456. So its useless to continue for it'll surpass the answer of 29884.

I'm still very curious why 29884

Sat Jun 03, 2006 6:15 am

 CONGRATULATIONS to all that have finished.

Thankyou to all those who helped make the plot easier to complete.

I am totally finished - and need a break ...... but oh no, I need to practise and practise hard for the Altador Cup!!

For all of you still making your way through water, gears or archives .... good luck. :D

OMG THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

Sat Jun 03, 2006 6:39 am
