Considering dolphinling was getting two spell results sometimes, I am placing my bet on the "sequence or combination of spells needed" theory.

Are we even sure that there's a "right" spell? Odds are that somebody would have found it already. I think there's some step we should done first, or maybe the next part is not released yet

Actually, we're not even sure we have the right book, but since it may be an order, or having to get all 20 differnt actions in alphabetical order or without getting anything twice, we're compiling a list.

What are the odds of having to find two spellbooks?

Yeah Im not sure exactly how im supposed to be addin mine up so I may have made a mistake (make that definatly made a mistake) because I didnt find my book

My Co-ords are (-213,25) (-173,-5) (-133,-35) (-93,-35) (-53,-5) (-13,25)

so I add the first lot of numbers together? which give me 678
And then add my other numbers ? which give me <ergle> 1300

somehow it doesnt make sense I think Ive been in the archives too long

Do it like this: Add the x numbers:
-213-173-133-93-53-13 = -678.
Then add the y numbers
25-5-35-35-5+25 = -30

Take the X sum and add the digits: 6+7+8 = 21
Do the same for the Y sum: 3+0=3

So your book is in room x=21, y=3

which would lead to
12 , 15 respectfully

but I have checked a few times and that doesn't seem to get me anywhere....I also retalked to the archivist and janitor as well as double checking the eye pattern in the telesecope...same coordinates.

I'm having the same problem as well. Cilian was kind enough to recheck all of my work starting from the coordinate level and got the same answer I did and there isn't a spellbook in that room (I've checked all 31 books repeatedly). (Your math and coordinates seem correct to me BTW)

I am getting increasingly upset but at least it isnt just me with NO BOOK depsite what the masses are telling us, I guess its back to checking rooms in sets of 3 sigh.. My hand hurts frmo these 5 stitches in it and I will prolyl aquire more shortly.. mutter

Hmmm, it may very well be a combination of spells, though one of the spell results does mention converting stone into mud? then again I don't see how turning the heroes into mud would help much

I'm willing to accept that I don't know everything, but I find it weird that nobody I checked has been able to find their book in the room designated by the coordinates.

I found the spell book finally!

Actually someone else helped and looked at the coordinates for me. To give you an idea, I had 54, 21 as the room.

My totals before adding the digits was 54, 948 so I was trying room 9, 21 for awhile. Apparently the theory worked from the board, just know that if there is only a 2 digit number after adding the coordinates that may be the answer. If that even makes sense.....
