As for the books themselves, I found mine on a multiple of 3. Mine was room 18x12, book 24. You can input the room numbers into the url at the arcx=xx&arcy=yy positions (xx and yy being the input number).

There's my question again. Where are you starting your counting from? What is the numbering system for the books?

arcx=18&arcy=12 in the URL. Change those numbers. I started with arcx=6&arcy=6, then added 3 to one of the numbers and clicked every 3rd book until I ran out of books on the page, then went to the next location. arcx=6&arcy=9, etc.

A question for the lucky people who've already found their books: what does it say when you've found the right book? Does the book look different from the other useless books?

I hate to sound like a whiner, but clicking every third book seems like a waste - it all depends on where you start.

EDIT: The room numbers I get, that much is fine.

If all the rooms are on multiples of 3, and seems the books are on mulitples of 3, could the spell also be based on 3s? You can only put 3 in the first space since so that would leave 81 combos to try by my quick crappy math (s'posed to be workin' here! hahaha).

Darn.. TNT is evil and clever so I bet there isn't a spell in the book that will do anything. It's all just a big distraction from what we should really be doing. :x

there any proof it starts at 6? like 06 06?? i've been trying to find this forsaken book for about 2 hours now

Why would you only click every 3rd book? o.o What if you skip over the right one? There aren't THAT many books in each room, just check them all.

I'm having trouble finding my constellation. I've done all the steps correctly, and I've talked to the lenny, who confirmed I'd found my constellation and should start mapping it.

I used a constellation finder, and I connected the dots right, but it still didn't work. I thought I read on here yesterday that you couldn't use a finder, but then when I checked again today, the notice wasn't there.

Can anyone tell me what I should do?

in your telescope, click delete all and then reconnect the stars. Open a new window and go to the archivist to view the constellation again.

there are 31 books in each room, and 36 (6 each x and y axis) possible room combinations. That's about 1116 possible books if you click on each book.

If you highlight part of the Altadorian Archives text bfore the image and start tabbing, the first 4 tabs will account for each door. 3 more tabs will get you book #3. Alt or Control + enter (depending on browser) will open that link in a separate window or tab. you can close that tab if it is the wrong one, and keep tabbing through the image.

Can I just ask, does it appear at the top of the page like the 'fake' books do? Because I've been going for about two hours, plus three hours this morning, and I stopped scrolling down after a while. If it's not at the top, then I'll have to redo five hours of work. Oh great joy. So please, say it's not. Unless it is, in which case that would be pointless.

Thanks! It's reassuring to know I haven't accidentally missed the right book.

(This sucks. Intensely so.)
