Altador Plot (65th split)

I've tried 12,12 and 9,9 and 15, 15.... all clicking 13 tabs and nothing. Is it always found on the 13th tab or was that just for one person? If not it is going to be VERY annoying.

In response to what causte said . . . I just tried refreshing a page where it isn't a spellbook, and the book doesn't change . . . I am confused.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was F5 refreshing and it wasn't changing, but if you go back to the room and click on the same book, it does change. *thwacks self*

Question.

For anyone who got their spellbook, did you have to refresh the page? I know the book changes when you refresh the page but when you went to it was it always the spellbook? And had you gone to that book/room combination before?

I've left the Archives and returned to it since I found my book, and it is still in the same spot.. room 12,12; 13th tab.

So far I've tried:

Room (0,0)
Room (1,1)
Room (2,2)
Room (3,3)
Room (4,4)

Room (10,10)
Room (11,11)
Room (12,12)

To no avail. I'm going to do this up 15, then start experimenting with placing the necklace on the statue. I thought that was cool at first but that just throws such a variable into all of this I'm really starting to hate it.

No, it doesn't. I actually wrote down the book numbers for room 12x12, so I just went back to check, and the book numbers are still the same.

By any chance do you notice anything different about the room? Maybe check to see what the image file name is?

Yeah, I'm grasping here.

Do you maybe see something in common between the room number, the book number, and the other two strings?

Well i got the hunter and found my book in 12x12 #17 and thought... mabye our favorite yurble has something to say...

well Ive checked every pair from 0,0 to 13,13

Yea I have a trick of doing it fast, but its too complex for me to attempt to explain (unless someone really desperately wants to know) and it requires firefox. Anyway, not having found it in those 14 rooms has left me kinda disheartened.

I figure there's got to be a method to the madness, but we've gotta find it. Because after we find it...its still a matter of which spell.

The pretty well-supported theory is that you'll find it in a room that's a double multiple of three, ie 6,6 9,9 12,12 etc.

Don't refresh, it doesn't help. You'll want to hit every book starting with the first. A lot of people are finding it on the 13th tab, but some (myself included) had to do more.
