Aside from the quest problem, four pets aren't hard to manage at all. It barely costs anything to stick all of them in the neolodge every 28 days, which keeps them fed and happy. And I find an account with four nice painted pets impressive (not as impressive as an account with one super-strong battle pet, but still impressive).

I really want them to just make faerie quest rewards go to the active pet. I had to turn down a space faerie AND a faerie queen quest last week because I was worried the stats would go to my main battle pet, pushing him into the six-codestone range before I'm ready. My little battle pet (who I intend to use for 2-player battling in lower levels) could really have used all those stats.

You didn't have to turn down the quests. Unless you want to use the Shop Wiz for whatever reason, the quest will sit there for days at a time, even months if need be. Besides, that second quest you got could've gone to someone who doesn't care about stuff like that... like me! :p

I have 4 pets. Initially, I started off with one, and then I got obsessive and sort of entered a pokemon mentality (gotta get them all!). It really isn't that hard to keep them fed and maintained, and for most of the training, it's easy enough to focus on just one pet. Again, it's really about the random events, especially the faerie quests.

I can't use quests that give levels or strength for at least another month, so yeah, I had to turn it down. I restock a little and need to price things, and I need to buy codestones every day for training, so not being able to use my shop wiz for a month would make the site very annoying for me.

I'm another one with 4 pets. I waited so long to be able to finally create my jetsam! His training started almost immediately during the Hannah war - my first time battling was when that war started. And I decided I kind of liked it!

Yes, having 4 pets when it comes to quests is a pain. Why TNT can't make it so your active pet gets the quest stats, I don't know. There's so many people who have been asking for this for at least a year (or longer - I didn't really take notice of this until I started training myself).

All my pets are painted, took alot of time and saving to get them that way. I don't want to have to try to transfer any of them and risk losing them. Plus, I like seeing them all every day, they're my main pets and kinda my "buddies". I have had the suggestion made to me numerous times that I should either try to transfer or simply disown! (gasp) my other pets so my jetsam can get all the quest stats. Not going to happen - I'd rather turn down quests or take the chances of one of my others getting the stat. I won't do k-quests at all though - I tried a few and for me they just weren't worth it.

If TNT would just give your active pet any quest stats, I think they would see more people having/keeping more than one pet and people doing more quests regularly.

i've got three pets and created them all from scratch. they've all got histories and personalities (one of them was pounded for a month and still there when i got nostalgic for him back) it wouldn't be the same for me if they were pets from somebody else. i don't know, it might be good if you know their previous owner was a Dr Sloth clone and mistreated them and you saved the poor neopet from his evil clutches or some other unlikely story. anyways, i'm turning into a bit of a BDer but can't bear to lose any of my babies (notice the option for a really rare pet if i like the look of it in the fourth space)

I also had to turn down a faerie queen quest last week for similar reasons, except that I'm in the 4-codestone range and worried about being pushed into 5 before I'm ready.

Likewise, I have 4 pets that I never really meant to aquire, but somehow did. :-) I'm very attached and besides the risk of losing them in a transfer, I think of them all as my little Neopets "family." It wouldn't be the same having them on other accounts. (I have some lovely and expensive pets on side accounts and find I haven't really gotten attached to them because I never see them in my day-to-day Neopets playing: I swear I'm tempted to buy the Lab on two more sides just because then I'd see them every day.)

So, yeah. No Kitchen Quests for me.

Luckily I'm not all THAT into the Battledome outside of wars, DoN, and suchlike.

See, if they would make your active pet get the stat, some of us would not be turning down quests. I'd love a faerie queen quest for some levels without having to train - I'm pretty sure it would be cheaper (I'm going to have to use SIX codestones for training now) ... but the idea of spending the np on a quest only to have it go to one of my non-battling, don't care about stats pets makes me say no.

bgryph, I'm the same with my "main" pets. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't get to see them and spend time with them every day. I love my pets on my other account, but since I only go there to collect interest and put them in the lodge these days, I'm not nearly as attached to them. They don't have as much personality as my main pets do -- and they DO all have distinct personalities :)

I keep only one pet, which I try to do all of my activities and such with. However, I love fostering pets - labbing them, reading to them, maybe feeding them a gourmet food or two - and then sending them off. Therefore, although I'd prefer it if a quest went to my main pet, I'm not upset if it goes to one of my 'fosters' at all =)

I have one pet and I love it that way. Training is easier with all faerie and kitchen quests going to the right pet! And she's a very expensive faerie krawk, which makes her extra special!
