I think they're asking how to MAKE a screenie, not how to post it.
The basic way is to find your "prt sc" (print screen) button. it basically puts a picture of how your desktop looks at that moment onto your clipboard. then open some imaging program (eg, paint) and then paste the picture. from there you can cut out the unimportant parts.
if this it too time consuming, an awesome program was mentioned before called ScreenHunter. it's a free program, just google it. it lets you crop the picture immediately and saves it as a picture file.
anyway... today was a GOOD day for me =)
been trying since october:
restocked a pinata!!!
