Because in Spain the main language is French. My cousin just arrived from Spain and he said everyone was speaking French.



No, I've been to Spain before and I've spoken French to some locals and they didn't understand most of it.


It probably depends on where you go in Spain. They might speak it in one town but not in the next town over.

Yeah I haven't had Spanish since 1st semester...I'm taking Spanish III next year tho.

Gracias = Thank you
De nada = Your welcome
Me llamo _____/Yo soy _____ = I am _____
Como te llamas? =What's your name (literally 'How are you called?')
Donde es ______? = Where is _______?
Voy a(l/ la) _____. = I'm going to the _____.
