Hmm, this makes sense... it didn't even occur to me until now that what with everyone saying their badges have been stolen, the badges could have been targeted specifically. Has anyone here whose badge been stolen tried to look for more Thief clues?

In the last plot, if the crystal was stolen, you could get it back. I have not heard of anyone getting their badge back. It is probably a long shot, but I thought I would toss the idea out there.

I really doubt that TNT would do this ussually the items you get in a plot are given to you for a reason

Right- and that reason could be to have it stolen. I don't think they would do this, because it would be difficult to ensure that every account that is participating in the plot has their badges stolen by a random event, but TNT does like to keep us on our toes, right?

i'll try to answer some questions:
Why is the badge always stolen and not other things?

Because PD/Grundo Leader/etc always target the things with the highest rarity index. I believe the badge is 150, so usually it's the highest in inventory.

How do you get another badge?
I know after completing FTR, you can get another badge by just going back to the astronomy club. Now that Farmer has changed their message, I'm not sure anymore, but it seems likely.

You try to force the windmill's blades to turn, in an attempt to blow excess wheat away from the field.

Hmmm.... that's sort of odd. None of the other places have had a second link(aside from the tomb but that was later). Blowing the hay away before we got our farmer constellation would be bad, but now we don't really need it anymore. I wonder if later we have to get the windmill to work.

I don't know It's plausible but if that were the case wouldn't it be wise to make a whole new random event involving a specific theif because unless it was a certain event then it really can just be chocked up to unluckiness.

Well, that would make sense, if TNT was trying to broadcast the clues. They're obviously being sneaky. It makes more sense to throw us off the trail by misleading us with something seemingly normal and usual.

I think that's just supposed to activate the next link.

Um... I don't have a badge. Where did all these badges come from? I think I missed the Badge talk..
I am a part of the Astronomy club. Shouldn't I have recieved my own spiffy badge of sorts?
Darnit.. I always get the short end of the stick.

After finding the First to Rise, if you went back to the Astronomy Club, the blumaroo would give you a badge.

I dunno if it's still possible if you've found the Farmer, but you could have a look.

But if you've found the Farmer without having the badge, it would seem to indicate that the badge isn't an important plot piece since I can't see TNT letting any progress without having the badge if it was integral to the plot.

If anything is going to be stolen before the Thief constellation portion of the plot, I would think it would be the Book of Ages, since this thief is supposed to be specifically interested in stealing Altadorian history. But who knows?

Zinger, any luck with my farmer lol

Useless Crystals were stolen quite often in the Lost Desert Plot, and my own Butterfish was stolen by the Pant Devil this morning.

Sorry to be so harsh people, but use your brain and just put it in your darn Safety Deposit Box. That is what it is for (both the brain and the SDB)!

Well, after all the speculation about stolen badges, I went to check mine and found that it wasn't in my inventory. I immediately thought it had been stolen, but I checked my SDB and there it was.

Obviously, I've moved it there and just hadn't remembered (surprise surprise). But that would explain why hadn't had any random events in which it was stolen.
