Hmm.

Tue Mar 28, 2006 8:10 am

I think either The dreamers constelation or the gatherers will be next.

If you noticed before everyone was staring at the DF, now if you look at there eyes there now staring to the left of her in that kinda area.

I ended up using the generator thingy (very handy by the way, thanks to whoever coded that!) to find my constellation.

Yes, that thing IS very handy!

Anyway, to address your question, I don't know what at frequency it changes, or what triggers the change, but I've recorded 4 different sets of star data for myself so far. Now that I know I have more than two sets, I'm making note of what time of day I see each set and watching out for new maps.

The only person i ever saw staring at anyone was the colector and he was staring at the person next to him and altador was the only one looking at DF Siyana was just looking across from her Jerdana was staring off in space the gladiator was staring across from him and I don't remember where the rest were staring.

Where do you see them all looking at her? I see no difference at all between the old image and the new in term of where they're looking.

I wish I could have done the excel method, but for some reason I get an error when I try to do the y scatter, something about the - sign not being allowed. That would have been handy for finding matching stars for the bottom of the eyes.

Just a FYI - do NOT post the starmapper url on the boards or anywhere. People are getting warnings for posting off-site urls.

Here.

Here clearly shows least two are looking at her.

If you remember there was a post of a pic earlier that showed beyond a shadow of a doubt EVERYONE was looking at the DF, I think they decided since you can only really see these twos eyes clearly that they would use these two to show where to look next as a clue.

I also noted in the neoboards some one looked at the coding and stated he thinks the dreamer would be next as well.

Or maybe this is to simple a clue for everone to fathum and ya rather look for a more complicated drawn out conclusion?

Neopets has to show some way which statues gems to look at as now you know that the gems are used along with the tomb doors in order to find the constellations. The Gems have the constelation in a jumble of gems, the tomb doors reveal to us what pattern to look for. Simple as that.

If that's to me (and I suspect it is), I didn't use Excel. I used Word. Just a regular .doc file table, sort by column 2, look for repeats.

I just spent over an hour looking at the new map I got today (I had taken every step and it changed). Couldn't find the eyes.
Then I refreshed the coordinates and they were new! After this I was able to find the eyes in less than a minute!
So make SURE you are looking at the right map. ;)

Also for those who are not able to use excel or anything:
I used photoshop, but anything is fine. I took a straight horisontal line and searcher which stars were in the same line. :)

sasha and the collector have always been looking there there has been no real change what so ever in the eyes the whole "they're all looking at so and so" was a theory and you know what as far as i'm concerned it looks like sasha is looking at the collector not psellia.

Actually, I remember that stupid picture of the HOH with red lines all drawn toward the dark faerie because that was supposedly where everyone was looking. When I visited the HOH for myself, it was obvious that the Collector and the Dancer in particular were NOT, in fact, looking at the dark faerie. At all.

Reign in your horses, the picture hasn't changed.

if this helps at all, i posted it around thread 5ish... or so, and im soooo happy to find out i was right! FOR ONCE i was right about a plot!

If you look at the cards, they all leave these constellations:

Image

except, the first to rise. that one is MESSED - UP. I dont know how your supposed to know what it is. Its really just a big explosion of starts bursting outward. so there are some close together in the middle, and further apart in a second outer layer. I dont know how else to describe it.

The other two slightly, but less confusing are the Wave and the Dreamer. The wave has a specific shape, but it doesnt resemble anything or have a pattern.
So you just have to recognize it. The Dreamer is also an obscure shape.. but it somewhat resembles the little dipper / little bear..... so... maybe that s a good way to remember it.

If you want to see the stars alligned with the orginal trading cards, click here:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v341/ ... mation.gif

I hope this helps somehow. I only posted it again because before, it was simply a theory..... and right now, im one for one :) so, maybe this can be of some assistance! Whoo!

Also, i dont know if this matters, but here are what the stars actually allign with in comparrison to the person it comes from:

The Protector - Her Orb!
The First To Rise - Big shining sun shape?
The Theif - his dagger
The Farmer - his leaf.. thing.
The Gladiator - his shield
The Sleeper - her eyes
the wave - her wave
the gatherer - her basket
the dreamer - her hair?
the collecter - the law scale
the dancer - tamborine
the hunter - his bow and arrow

so they all somewhat represent a symbolic item too... kind of.

You seem to be getting a little grumpy. I just checked all pics that I could find old and new of the statues and there's no change. That doesn't mean that the dreamer won't be next, just that the statues almost definitely aren't the clue. I'm not looking for a more complicated drawn out conclusion, in fact I say we need another update then there will be a new clicky place on the map and we'll know the next constellation.

Can anybody remember if when you selected all the sleepers stars, it automaticly send its report to neopets? or if you had to click a "send button".

Because I think I've already found my Collector system, but I can't send it (not enough stars), so if it really is the right system I have to wait for neopets untill I reach that part of the plot :)

I check word, and those top 3 are the perfect match...
I only have 1 other group of stars that are perfectly aligned but they are too far apart and randomly placed on the X variables.

Only odd one out is the lower star who is in fact 1 point too much to the left on the X.
