Ohh! Very nice clue with the view source thing!

However, since the have the bold tags around one of the words.. maybe they're saving it for later on? Like.. maybe once we complete one step then that text will actually show up on the page? But that is no doubt the Darkest Faerie's words.

Also, I've decided that Altador translates roughly to "Golden Height/Elevation". Alta is Latin for high/elevated. Dore is possibly Golden. There was also an ancient city named Dor and that name seems to have some correspondence to "dwelling/habitation."

The latin for gold is aurum. (which is why gold is Au on the periodic chart)
So that means the city name is not golden if its in latin. It would be altaurum or something course it could be a different root language. I'm not sure if dor has any latin roots or not but Hey my two years of high school latin has to come in handy for something.

I have read on some earlier boards and posts that some of you think that the tcg cards have something to do with the plot.

Do you really think TNT will incorporate something that not everyone might have access to?

I don't know if it is still a theory but I don't think that is the case. Just wondering.

Agree. They won't do something we can't all access! That'd be unfair, and make a lot of people upset.

As for the posts on the previous page that this is going to turn into a war....TNT announced it would NOT be a war, and the next war would have something to do with Sophie the Witch. Now, I'm not sure if there's a connection between Altador and Sophie, so if there is, could someone crash-course us all???

Hmmmm...
The haunted woods(Or a swamp anyway, or werelupe woods, I'm not sure if they are considered part of the haunted woods), and Sophie, were both acessible in the PS2 game. But other than that, there is no connection. You have to visit Sophie for a sidequest, she's not really involved in the plot at all. xD

Anyway - I found the prize code area and thought that perhaps we have to figure out a code to add to get the telescope. When I got there there was an image of The Darkest Faerie in the top bar and our good friend Tor waiting to get our prize - very strange! Click here to see it.

I like your idea, but it turns out this was from that Maraqua plot [link]. I thought you were on to something too. :( Good sleuth-work anyway.

Fauna

Not sure if this is relevant, but when I was looking through all of the TCs, The Gatherer wouldn't come up, so I searched for it in Neopets, and the picture didn't even come up in the search results, I just had a little red x.

And why is Siyana's statue lighter colored than all of the rest of them?

I've posed that question 3 or 4 times before. General decision is that it's because she was the light faerie....but I'm not sure. I still think it's relevant.

Topic on neoboards

Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:13 pm

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, there are a LOT of boards on here lol, which I read through most of already, but I was going through the neoboards and one suggested that perhaps since there are 12 statues, maybe you find a clue for each one in each world. I remembered this when someone made the connection earlier with the names (I think it was something like marak to maraqua, and then on the neoboard Torakor to tyrania) that perhaps they had been in hiding. I'm not sure if this a good clue but it kinda made sense to me.

Thanks...I've just skimmed through all of this, so I must not have seen it posted anywhere.

People have been speculating about that...something about having to find the counterpart to each, such as the farmer in Meridel.
Also, a connection of each statue being attached to a different month...but I'm not sure.

lol...sounds like we're trying to find the Neopian Creation story. Many cenuries ago, there were the 12 Olympian-God-like protectors of Neopia. They all went into hiding, and each created their own world. Marak created Maraqua, and filled it with all the animals of the sea.......etcetera....

Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:23 pm

lol maybe. The one for each month and get a clue each month one seems way too far fetched... the plot would be way too long. Argh, I wish they'd hurry up and release something! I keep going back to the HoH to see if maybe I missed something but idk...

Everyone, I have a new theory! I predict that this plot will place huge importance on the number 2/3!

Why do I say this? Well, look at the evidence:

1: By far most of the stars/shapes have either 8 sides or 12. E.g. see the shape of the city (8 ) and the number of heroes in the hall (12). And of course 8/12 = 2/3.

2: The angle formed by the lines when you look up at the gem-constellations is 20 degrees. Multiply it by 12, and it is NOT enough for a full circle! In fact, it's exactly enough for 2/3 of a circle! This is big.

3: We know there are 6 clubs to join. However, only 2 of them (astronomy and mining) have we seen anything of yet. That leaves 2/3 unused!

There's even some weird little things, like 2/3 of the heros are wearing a skirt in their statues (all the girls except Fauna, plus Florin, Torakor, and Altador)

So what do you think the 2/3 means? Will something happen to 2/3 of the heroes? The book is 53 pages long + cover makes 54. Will we only have to fill 2/3 of those (= 36)? Maybe the other 18 are pictures?

What other things it mean?

This post is intended as satire. It is a commentary on the sheer and utter stupidness of most of the "theories" proposed, and the utter uselessness of all of them. Seriously, people, nothing is happening. If you absolutely must do something Altador-related, go memorize all the heroes' names, species, and jobs, and what order they're in. Stop filling the board with mindless drivel.

Don't for get 28 divided by (2/3) is 42 :P The plot thickens.

Seriously, that is an interesting idea. I'm glad we have you on our side.

*scrunches her nose* I hope not- I hate math.

Technically, though, we've seen something of the herbalism club too- the symbol on the Quiggle's shoulder is the same one that appears on Florin's belt. Which messes up your calculations a bit. Sowwy.

no no...PLEASE mess up the caluclations! I couldn't stand it if this was about math! I'd just give up now!

And that board on neopets, it's pretty good....but more of the same we're seeing here. theories.

This probably doesn't matter to anyone on these boards, but I thought I'd point out that there's a new neoboard on the Altador Plot. Maybe someone there would have something interesting to say. :)
