even tho this may nto be related did anyone else notice the stars i nthe water before =/ http://images.neopets.com/maps/island/m ... 005_02.gif

I think it is purely coincidence, however, if you count the "stars" in the water plus the two on land (Tropical Food Hut & Gadgads Game) they do equal 12. I do believe this proves that you can always make something out of nothing. Especially since there does not seem to be any other corelation between Altador and Mystery Island.

This is only my second plot and I noticed that there was a "golden ashia" character in Battle for Meridell and a golden Aisha statue in Altador. Is there a golden Aisha in every plot?

Not sure if this was noticed
If you go back to the Archives, the archivists message has changed to :

The archivist says, "Amazing! The ceiling of the Hall of Heroes opened? What a marvel! Perhaps there are some clues about the Book of Ages to be found there."

If you look at the URL of the map, it was made in 2005 though.

Yeah, that message has been like that since the ceiling step was completed.

On the stars I posted this two threads ago so it wouldn't go into this:

The volcano has been smoking ever since the island plot. Also, before it gets brought up the "stars" have always been there too[quote/]

I don't know what other connection there is, but the 12 Protectors of Altador are very similar to the 12 Olympian Gods. They are even split up into 6 males and 6 females just like the Olympians.

Also, I've decided that Altador translates roughly to "Golden Height/Elevation". Alta is Latin for high/elevated. Dore is possibly Golden. There was also an ancient city named Dor and that name seems to have some correspondence to "dwelling/habitation."

Just my thoughts.

Flyers in the Archive Bulliten Board

Tue Mar 21, 2006 4:51 pm

After the light is in the room if you go back to the archives this is the quote that is said;

The archivist says, "Amazing! The ceiling of the Hall of Heroes opened? What a marvel! Perhaps there are some clues about the Book of Ages to be found there."

I think we might need to find more pages that go in the book.

I just check out the flyers on the bulletin board (did you know you can read them?).

Looks like there are lots of clubs but not taking new members. o_O

MindyEdit: Please do not double post. I've combined these ones for you. If you have anything to add to a post that has not yet been replied to, use the edit button in the upper-right corner of your post.

I have read on some earlier boards and posts that some of you think that the tcg cards have something to do with the plot.

Do you really think TNT will incorporate something that not everyone might have access to?

I don't know if it is still a theory but I don't think that is the case. Just wondering.

My favorite quote that appliest to me is:

"Discover wildlife Raise Twins"

I don't remeber who wrote it.

[tries desperately to keep his cool] Neopia is not earth, there never will be any realations to any real life era just tributes to it. The LDP was very Egyption in style, Altador seems to be very Ancient Greece-esque - that is all the link will ever be.

It has already been noted, many times that the Archivist now comments on the roof opening.

And those fliers were found to be readable ever since Altador was first released - far too long ago.

Theres a show over here that askes for several answers to one question, with the obvious ones going first. If only the harder answers are left, and quite a bit of time has gone by - DON'T SAY THE MOST OBVIOUS THING!

My point being, The fliers have been about for weeks, and we have all checked the Archivist quite often - there is no need to try that again, because we've heard it far too many times.

I may be a bitter olf fool - but I'm really getting irritated. Appologys.

Starry Sky in the ceiling

Tue Mar 21, 2006 5:27 pm

I think the stars in my ceiling are 'The Wave'. And checking the TCG card and the gems above the statue didn't work. Is everyone's ceiling constellation different?

Let me add on: Didn't work yet. Could be a next step that hasn't been implimented yet?

 I am ready for the next step...thanks to all of you I am greatful for the help Ihad when I was stuck...I read the board and it helped a lot. :o Please please update the line TNT

this was a link I found maybe they are onto something. This is all they found as well though:

Is this a new clue that I have found. I stumbled across something very interesting when I was following a lead. I read in a post that poeple were looking for a 'Wooden Telescope'.

Wooden Telescope

After researching I found out that the Wooden Telescope is a Prize Code Redemption Item. This means that you need to buy a real life Neopets item to get the code! Anyway - I found the prize code area and thought that perhaps we have to figure out a code to add to get the telescope. When I got there there was an image of The Darkest Faerie in the top bar and our good friend Tor waiting to get our prize - very strange! Click here to see it.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but in the Archives room, noticed how the flyers have changed since it first opened? If you click each one, its the same person, just wearing different disguises, and different clubs, could this have anything to do with the plot? Future clue perhaps?

Tue Mar 21, 2006 5:38 pm

I'll admit that source code thing is fairly interesting.

When you say stars: Are you talking about the gems, or the stars in the observatory?

If your talking about the gems: The gems over each statue are differant, but the same for each person. (As mentioned on the first post)

If your talking about the observatory: The stars are the same for everyone. Most people think they look like the theifs(forgot his name) constilation.

OK, I'm well aware that Neopia is not Earth. But if I'm not mistaken isn't a "tribute" to an Earth era or culture also a relation? I'm not saying the Protectors ARE Greek Gods, but if you took a moment to investigate instead of just shooting ideas down you'd discover that there are similarities.

Big deal you say and I'd have to agree. But it was a connection I found that I wished to share and perhaps it will lead us to other clues at some point.

/ends rant

huh?

Agree. They won't do something we can't all access! That'd be unfair, and make a lot of people upset.

As for the posts on the previous page that this is going to turn into a war....TNT announced it would NOT be a war, and the next war would have something to do with Sophie the Witch. Now, I'm not sure if there's a connection between Altador and Sophie, so if there is, could someone crash-course us all???
