Lost Desert Plot Discussion #144 (Results Show)

The Ring of the Lost promises to take you where you need to go. In the battledome, I would define that as anywhere your opponent isn't aiming his ( or her) weapons.... which would make it something like a Thyora's Tear! I really hope that's the case- but I'm not confident enough to go out and buy them up at 2 million a pop!! (The fact that I'm pretty broke right now makes that an easy decision).

A lot of people seem to have the scroll reading bug, you didn't by chance read another scroll later, did you ??

I think I did... The first scroll I ever read was the correct one, but after that, I just read some random ones too... But the moment I discovered that I had accidentially read the correct one from the start, I reread it and didn't read any other one afterwards...

But it's nice to hear that there's others with the same problem (not that I wish for other people have bugs and stuff of course ), this way we can make ourselves heared a bit better I hope.

Hmmm, well I don't know then I was thinking maybe you only got that icon if it was the last scroll you read, preventing most people from getting it just because they were lucky enough to stumble upon the correct library and read the right scroll...

how can you tell what you didn't do? One is in lighter text, does that mean I didn't do that? If that is the case, I didn't follow the steps and understand my library scroll. That was the first scroll I read. I did read all the others after that, but I went back and read mine again so it was the last one I read.

Yep, the lighter things are the ones you didn't do according to them... I went through exact the same thing as you did for my library scroll and it also says I didn't do that step, I've already sent in a bug report about it, but I don't know if those get a good response, maybe a premium member should try to get a hold of one of the staff members on the boards and ask them about this?

Although I did absolutely everything and in fairly good speed (I was one of the first enter the repository and try to move a block when the doors opened, but that probably counts for nada), yet I see users who missed steps and moved about the same amount of sand and blocks as me get WAY more points (ie top prize). If the scores are revied, I'm all for it, natch.
However, I am extremely pleased with my rank and points (best I've gotten in any of the 4 plots I've taken part in) and offer congratulations to the top rankers, TNT for such a varied and insomnia inducing plot.
I would also like to thank every single board member who contributed to the miriads of LDP boards here on PPT helping myself and many others reach the heights of plot greatness.

I did everything except:
-Completed Qasalan Hieroglyph Click Sequence (Fake)

I moved 6 piles of sand, but no stone blocks (I got scarabed all three times I tried).
I moved more furniture in than I can remember.
I beat Scordrax once, and the Spirit of the Ruins 14 times.

My list thingie
I am a Qasalan Archaeologist with 184,300 points.

I'm not sure what I'm getting. It depends on whether or not the rings are better than my Bow of Destiny and Sword of Apocolyse.

I like how they have the books for the staff members, and I like the Nuria bobblehead. The prizes are really good this time. I'm really not sure what I want to get.

I actually thought I did everything fast, after I got into the swing of things. I did pile up my crystals in a small time span, but, it wasn't that late. I completed Razul very soon after he was released.

Oh NOW I remember why I didn't speak the fake prophecy. It would have locked me out of the temple for a day and after I discovered that it was fake, I just decided to skip over it and do the real one to save time. No matter really, I have enough points to get the best prize.

I only found my first parchment since I came into the plot at the end and switched accounts right before it was over. I only have 4,000 points on the other account anyway.

Oh well, I can always buy the other prizes from user shops later if I want them bad enough.

For now I'm perfectly happy with my sidebar and Blob Plushie.

What are all the different Keychains? I'm thinking I might look through for the symbols I remember liking and get those.

[Confused, lost & help]

I got scroll specialist with 164,300 points. Said I missed out a couple of steps and all the sand shifting had been finished by the time I caught up so I can't complain at all. I've set the Qasalan side bar which is cool but for some reason (prob my dial up) it's only translating half of the options when I move my cursor over them! Oh well makes things more interesting! Ahhh, i don't know what to trade my points in for. I'm not a fighter so not sure about bd items. Any advice about what to get??? Anybody???
