Hey dolphinling, I actually think moving sand and moving blocks are worth 5000 each. I've noticed point differences between people where the only difference is if they moved sand/blocks or not.

Block Mover

WHAT happened to furniture!? I actually did heaps of that ;_;

If you started late, you got less points for each compeletion. Seems TNT owned anyone that didn't start early by making them lose out on getting the best prize listed.

It makes sense. if you started late your were punished and if you did a section earlier then everyone else, you got bonus points.

I've seen that, but I've also seen ones with identical scores where one moved blocks and one didn't. Compare avantikiwi and elbereth1992.

I'm a scroll specialist with 149,300 pts. Moved 14 piles of sand and 3 blocks. Did everything except the 2 fake prophecy things. Kinda disappointed a little, I was hoping to get the Ring of the Lost until I realized I was one measly 1,000 pts short  I hope TNT activates the weapons soon, so we can figure out which ones to buy depending on how good they are. I'm buying a 'How to Play the Viola' because I play the viola in real life <3

Oh. I was actaully up to date on most of the stuff, it was just the last couple of stages because I lost my temple maps. I didn't start late, I just finished a stage late >.>

How frustrating.

Whoa! I got 37,000 points and a Dune Explorer trophy! I'm shocked because I expected to get absolutly nothing... I quit pretty early on. I think it was after I completed the map, and I had to read the scrolls from 3 librarys, and I couldn't find one of them.

Oh well, I'm happy.

I guess I was to slow to get the TOP trophy :(

At least I can buy the top prize :)

Dune Explorer
Points: 38,800
Sand Mover
Piles: 15
Block Mover
Blocks: 6

:o! I love the sidebar! I want snarkie answers to stuipid questions... but its currently the cheapest of the three 30k books...

Tue Jan 31, 2006 8:37 am

I still leave out the to and read that as Snarkie answers stupid questions. Because you know she does, or at least laughs at them.

I have enought for either of the rings.

Which ring do you think will be better, bearing in mind the wedding ring mentions a curse.

What about the formans cudgel?

Also, most of the plushies are selling for about 2k already :)
Good for people with plushie galleries

Yay I got 179,300. I didn't move blocks but I moved sand, and I missed the fake prophecy bit.

I was lurking on the neoboards and someone posted a link to a petpage with all the prizes and their current values in the shops/trading post. Apparently the list will be updated daily:

I'm a scroll specialist. I got 164,300 points, moved 12 piles of sand, and 3 blocks (I guess that was 3 sucessfully....I did a lot more then that...) and a few furnature, but that didn't show up.

I also did most of the stages rather fast too...so I don't think time to completion had anything to do with it.

I'm bummed....I spent time during my lectures playing around with this! (Granted, I was doing it because I hated my prof and couldn't stay awake in his lectures, but..... ;)).

I guess I'll go for one of the rings, but I'm going to wait to see which one is better first.

Lost Desert Plot

Tue Jan 31, 2006 9:30 am

Thank you all for being here during the Lost desert plot. The people on this board were incredible. I posted very infrequently, finding that there were so many available with the same info, that my input was not needed.

I didn't get to your board until October... but lurked daily after that.

Qasalan Archaeologist
Points: 179,300

Sand Mover
Piles: 18

Made mistakes and missed out on the block moving.

Moved a lot of furniture

completed all steps except:
Clicked on the comic hieroglyphs in the incorrect order to reveal a "fake" prophecy.
2Spoke the "fake" second prophecy to the statue of Nuria.

With the help of these boards, I completed most activities very quickly.

I've got 184,300 points, I think it's sad furniture moving and battledome fighting didn't count, so they were just to keep us busy? And apparently the amount of things move doesn't really count either, I've only moved 2 blocks and I've got an even amount of points than people with a lot more blocks moved...

Also, it says I didn't understand the correct library scroll, while I definitely did understand my library scroll, how else could I have entered the repository area? (I did already understand it the first time I entered a library though, I accidentially entered the right library and read the right scroll)

I'll probably be going for the most expensive ring though, once I know what it's stats are of course :)

And yes, what's up with our Nuria weapons? I think I'll be writing to the Neopian Times Editorial, as many people probably will do :)

A lot of people seem to have the scroll reading bug, you didn't by chance read another scroll later, did you ??
