Admittingly, I just created a JubJub with the intention of labbing it to get an Onion or Coconut pet, but I have to agree that I don't understand what's so appealing about many of the food pets. I'd much rather have a redrawn variety.

I agree. And i was thinking to mayself on the way home today, 'Why didnt they redraw pets like usul and chia who need it, instead of making new pets? '

I'd even like to see just some nice colorfills. Like Sunset or something.. just not the gradient kind. With just a nice mix of pinks, oranges, purples and blues with a bit of grey clouds around their paws/mane/talons/whatever. THAT would be a neat pet color.

All these food pets are getting boring.. ^^'

And yes, there are many other things they could go with. Ninjas are often requested, from what I hear. Binary would be a neat idea (like, with basically the pet image made up of little 1's and 0's ... XD hit poses could have numbers flying off of them...

Stuff like that.

I didn't come back to Neopets until the end of the plot so I didn't get very far.

Yeah, I joined about a month before the plot wrapped up, so didn't get anywhere becuase I was lost-lost-lost. I got as far as the Temple of 1000 Tombs or whatever it's called, and I got even more lost-lost-lost....

Nice looking sidebar, though. I wonder what the actual "item" prizes are.

Man, I hope that's not a plot prize. I didn't do much of anything during the plot. Of course, those who did do it would probably like it to be, and I'm not going to argue with that.

Yeah, not too keen on dessert pets. Maybe...I dunno, maybe wooden pets? Neon pets? Or revamp the fire pets, those have such potential as a nice redraw--as flames themselves rather than just fire--patterned. And then make water(wobbly outline), earth(dirt-colored with leafy green ornamentation), and air/wind(the way you see wind in cartoons, and drawn like a tornado in the angry pose) pets, so people can have elemental pets.

That sidebar--oh gawd I'd love to have that, but it's probably not happening as I only got finished with the first couple parts of the LDP.

That's what the money tree ghosts look like in the TCG, I don't know why they're just ghost quiggles on the site.

Of course, they USED to be little white wisps with "blair witcH" t-shirts. I miss that :p
