Actually, my point was that they would close down whatever part of the site was having problems, so that the parts that weren't having problems would be accessible. I know of another Virtual Pet website that does this, so that's the only reason I brought it up.
And my point is that this problem obviously is affecting much more of the site than just one area, and therefore they can't close it down.

Why should I, or anybody else, be ashamed of their actions (defending neopets) if the peple doing the complaining in the first place aren't ashamed of theirs?

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that Neopets won't be back up until later today. The maintenance crew probably went home by now (it is 12:30 A.M. where they are).
