Because you don't get that color combination by mixing light, you get it by mixing paint. So maybe we should be mentally overlaying colors?
For instance, my old Card Catalogue order was BYR, and my new one is YRB.
B+Y=G
Y+R=O
R+B=P
so even though the first rack looks Yellow, i should be thinking of it as Yellow over Blue, and should look there for tablet symbol that lines up with the green light. And i would imagine I would be looking for a green scroll in that area.
That kind of hurt my head a little thinking about it.

I like the paint theory. But in a different light. Maybe the blue scroll rack used to be red, the yellow blue....etc. So maybe we have to figure out what the blue one used to be, etc.
Ianb didn't look for secondary color scrolls and neither did dolphin.
That kind of hurt my head a little thinking about it.

Yes, here too, but something pleasurable I find about this theory. Maybe you are right that the whole Wet Paint thing is a clue (however which way), rather than an excuse for delay as I thought, but then we still need to know which colors of scrolls to ignore or not, how many and which order.

My initial card catalogs were
Y B R
My new card catalogs are
Y R B
... Y P P?
I think I tried and failed to find a purple scroll in a given area I wanted to go to.

These are my first two light sequences.
So I figured my second crystal to be:
RBYRXBBYBYXYRXRX
I treated this combo the same as the first as did a lot of you, and got nothing, but I used the original crystal order. I'm wondering if I should try the card catalog order instead as all of the scrolls were there only once even in the smallish rooms.
Has anyone done this already?

That's a pretty good idea, I don't think i've seen anyone post about re-doing an entire list rather than just the ones that have changed. Let us know how it goes!

If you remember, tabbing on the last page of chaper 5 shows a link in the picture of the city fading away. I just checked and the first one is of the same tower that we put the chrystal in. I clicked on it and nothing happend...but then again, I am still looking for my second piece.
any thoughts on this?
