I'd like to try this also. But I'm unsure if all my colours will work out like everconfused's I have:

Crystal 1: _RBYY_RY_B_BYBRR
Crystal 2 _PPOO_OY_P_BYPOR

So my new combination would be? (whats blue and pruple?) *hates primary/secondary colours*

Yours would be _BRRR_YY_R_BYRYR

Red + Yellow = Orange
Red + Blue = Purple
Yellow + Blue = Green

I'm going to try the theory above, but using the crystal colors as well.
(subtracting the secondary from primary).

ok ive gone into my temple ive fallen into the spike trap but it wont give me my crystal

I think I read before here something about clicking on a skull????? I am looking for the spikes now.

When you see the spikes, the closest skull to you, put your mouse pointer over the left eye (your left). you should see that its clickable. click the eye and you will have the 2nd crystal.

I'm doing a variation on that, marked my catalogs in the combinations like that and ended up with 9 scrolls to run through. I'm going to go back and do them again, this time clicking twice on those that I had marked with two colors. I don't think I'm on the right track, but as long as someone's wondering I'll give it a whirl.

Oh and someone was wondering about the paint perhaps drying, so I checked the URLs of the paint and there is nothing for orange, purple, or green: (http://images.neopets.com/desert/ldp/sr ... rack_r.gif ie change 'r' to b for blue, you get blue, change it to o for orange and there is nothing).

My first crystal's color are BYR.

My crystal lights are:

1: rbyr yybx ybrx rxbx
2: ppyp oypx ygpx oxbx

Which, if I figured right, should give me:

br-b r-r- -yb- y---

So I from that got these scrolls:

nem yellow Anubis Toxicology Reports (Basement)
lat yellow Anubis Toxicology Reports (Basement)
nem blue Underwater Basket Weaving (Basement)
fer blue Stairwell Landing and Astronomical Records (3rd)
set blue The Stacks, Western Archives (3rd)

I read them in three different orders by color, the above which is the order of my catalogs, then YRB, then BYR. I never got the Anubis toxicology message. I don't know if this helps further any theories.

Using step 1, you mapped your lights onto your tablets. Take the symbols that were designated under that color, and put it in order as stated in your directory listing.

OK, I just read all the blue, then all the yellow scrolls - since my crystal (1) was RBY, and I have no red, started with blue, which is also now the first color of my card scroll racks, spent alot of time in the basement (yuck), and .... NOTHING!

IanB, not sure if you saw my PM. Could you post the order of the 3 yellow symbols you used based on the catalogue?

Well I marked off my catalogs by using colors to underline each symbol, marking off the same symbol for r and y if I had that symbol for o, etc. I read all the scrolls (16 total). The first time I read each once, the second time around I read twice those that had two lines under them. Nada. Back to the drawing board.

Is being in the aim chat very helpful? I'm on trillian and I don't think I can get in unless I go dload aim, which I hate to do lol.

I haven't found my spikes yet either, Sylence. I'm starting to get annoyed with the randomness of this plot at times, and then with the time restraints. One hour lock out, 8 hour intervals between lights, one hours worth of light (and 2 of them I'm either sleeping or in class), complete chance of getting a spiked trap...and my lights come on in 40 minutes. It's starting to frustrate me! I think mainly because I know we're coming to the end of the plot and I keep falling farther and farther behind because I can't get a spiked trap! heh oh well, such is the life of a neopets plot I suppose!

But just wanted to say thanks to everyone so far for being so helpful with this plot!
