All right, I've finished writing out the next comic. Took me a while, 'cause I had to find one with a talk bubble big enough for Jazan's speech

In case you hadn't noticed darling, you no longer rule Sakhmet. I do!
My first command is for the people of Sakhmet to prepare a royal wedding, which shall take place tomorrow. Displease me, and I will unleash more terrors on you.
With no choice and in terror for their lives, Amira and her servants return to the palace to fulfill Jazan's orders.

Forgotten in the wedding preparations, Tomos waits under guard in Jazan's Tower.
Also being watched over, Nabile makes better use of her time.
I have read the ancient tablets in Qasala. I know your Prince is not evil at heart, but under a curse.
No one has ever bothered to learn our history or known the wickedness that afflicts us.
If I can talk to the prince, maybe we can find some way to lift the curse without hurting anyone else.
The curse says he must marry a Sakhmet princess, and Amira is the only one. Stupid, stubborn brat that she is...
But the tablets said the curse will be lifted "when true love unites." Jazan doesn't love her, and it's clear she will never love him.

Well, you had better put on something less tatty if you intend ot address the prince. Although I don't see what good you can do...

Yes, once it belonged to Jazan's mother the queen, she was truly lovely. It makes me happy to see someone wearing it again.
While the handmaiden escorts Nabile to Jazan's Chamber, Tomos grows more bored every second.

As the guard leaves the room, Tomos notices that his cloth wraps have come loose.

Quietly he ties the end of the loose wrapping to the leg of a chair.
Hey, towel face! Look at me, I'm escaping.
Get back in here! If you fall out that window and kill yourself, Jazan will have my hide.
Wham!
In moments, Tomos escapes from Jazan's tower...
...only to find himself in deeper trouble!

Can you give us a rundown of exactly what you've done and/or screenshots of ur spectrum, tablet and catalogs?

I ain't good at screenshots, but I have gotten my light colors (just rechecked): rbybrbyyyxxxrbrx

Matched them to my tablet (just recheck for the 5th/6th time):
Blue: Saf, Djo, Lanturn, Eye
Red: Eye, Djo, Fer, Waves
Yellow: Eye, Saf, Ankh, kar

My crystal is BRY, so my order is right.

My catalog order would go:
B: Eye (Pasta-Art), Saf (Inorg Chem), Djo (Archives 114), Lanturn (Stacks East)
R: Eye (Artisan Yurbles), Fer (Desert Fauna), Waves (Stacks East), Djo (Gov Directories)
Y: Eye (Archives 1-94), Kar (Unsolved Scarab Thefts), Ankh (Pasta-Art), Saf (Gold Room)

My first two tries failed since I got the wrong symbol. My last two failed for unknown reasons. I have the right rooms. I have the coordinates of the scrolls.

Any suggestions?

Are you absolutely sure that the eye (tep ?) is the first occuring symbol in all 3 colours? Mine don't have any in the same order.

Yeah. Recheck the spaces. Recheck the card catalog list. Since everyone's is different, without screenshots, we can't tell you if you've got it wrong.

I have just rechecked everything. Sorry for no screenshots, but I have a printed copies of my catalog for reference. They are exactly the same from last night as they were a couple minutes ago.

sky, double check you have the symbols/spaces lined up right, that you have read the list in the correct order according to your catalogue, that you havent accidentaly listed a wrong symbol.........i know you have probably already done all that but it has to be a mistake somewere if its not working.

Well since these posts are moving extremely fast and i cant keep up.... im just going to ask these questions which have probably been asked 100 times already.

1. has anyone figured out what order/sequence/whateva we have to read these scrolls in??
2. what are your theories on this.....

I am thinking that the 3 colours on the crystal represent the order u need to read the scrolls in, like maybe all yellow, all red then all blue...... then the remainder...

or something along those lines.

I've kept most of my records by hand. Better for learning and making mistakes. I wrote out the order of lights and drew the symbols under them. I have at least triple checked my symbols and colors. They are all matched.
