Oh, wow! Had you done anything different before placing your crystal, like reading any of the scrolls from your catalog, talking to the fortune teller, etc.?

Yeah it's the invisible stair. And now I'm going to have to try placing my crystal again since it didn't do anything like that for me...

Alright, I'm not really sure I understand this. I went to the card catalogs, and copied down all of the information. One of my rooms was Sakhmetian Archives, Room 111, located next to the cup icon. So I went to that room, and there were or 5 different scrolls with red cups on them. After each one, I got the same message I get after reading any other scroll. Is there any indication that I have read the right one?

I'm wondering... you know how there are 12 scrolls, one for each symbol, in each of the three card catalogs? Maybe we just have to read the three that correspond to our own symbol... like I'd have to read the three ahn ones. Has anyone tried this yet?

Wow!
I saw nothing like that, and still dont. Perhaps it's a time of day thing? Any idea when you placed yours?

I placed it about 10mins ago

I couldn't see the symbols either. I looked at the source code.

Im going to read scrolls going by the colours that I got after placing the crystal to see what happens...

Tue Nov 01, 2005 1:20 am

I just read all 36 scrolls from my card catalog (in no particular order).

I didn't get any special message of any type.

Ok, an example of mine...In the Civil Records Standard Reference, Silver Room...I need a Blue Saf...after looking at every scroll rack in the room, I found a total of three different blue saf's...type A, D and E I read each of them. Nothing noteworthy. I dont know why I am posting this just trying to make some sense of it all I suppose. I keep thinking the scroll types have to fit into this somehow.

Can someone please tell me where

Anubis Toxicology Reports

Lost Desert Literature (biographies)

Dress Patterns

are? Just a general idea of floor position would be great because I have been clicking around for a while and haven't found any of the areas. Thanks.

I would go by the colors and use the symbol of your statue.

Had you done anything else inside the repo. prior to placing the crystal?

Tue Nov 01, 2005 1:22 am

I can confirm that everyone has different variations of the Red, Yellow and Blue dots that appear.

I have not got them, but a guild member did and I checked both screenies of my guild member and the one posted here and they are different.

I still believe this is the order of scrolls, but it what capacity, I don't know.

Tue Nov 01, 2005 1:24 am

Okay, new theory:

Once you place your crystal, you get a series of colored dots on the wall. In Yunamaxieboytanda's screenie, there are 12 colored dots and three empty spaces. That's 15 spots altogether... and there are 15 symbols on the far wall, see? Maybe he has to read the first symbol scroll in blue, the second in yellow, the third in blue, skip the fourth, read the fifth in blue... maybe.

Bah. Repository stuff annoys me.

I know someone else noticed this by now, but how's this for a section:
Unsolved Thefts (Desert Scarabs as primary suspects)

Serves them right in my opinion.

I don't know about the others but the lost desert literature (biographies) is on the 4th floor near the top left hand corner.
