I agree! I've long believed that cracking the *code* at word pyramid is how we get to the other dimension. I'm just exhausted from trying that approach!

I already have my usless crystal. Just for fun I went back to the chef and read this message:
The chef, who looks very familiar, glances at you as you enter. "Well, fancy meeting you here. Turns out they needed a chef for the cafeteria here, and as I was out of a job, they hired me on!" He twirls his rolling pin. "Unfortunately, I ain't gotten any shipments of food yet, so I can't make anything. Just some mislabeled boxes." He sighs. "This job is boring."
Isn't that the message we got at first???? Does this mean we will need to find something else for him? Perhaps we could deflect some of the scorchio's flames with the crystal, or something?[/i]

You know what occured to me after I'd already traded my t-shirt in...I bet those things are going to be worth a MINT after the plot is over...I mean you have to trade it in to move on - soooooooo...

That's correct, I think they learned their lesson with the Magic Tiki Mask used for the Mystery Island plot. People did Fetch a lot in order to get the masks (which helped with a certain clue) and sold off their excess masks.

Since the foreman/chef wants some food, could it be that we needed to bring him some food?
What if we got him a special item that we obtained from doing certain things or going to certain places and that item would unlock something else (secret passage).
I found out that I have a tangy cheesesicle that I don't remember getting from anywhere or a randow event though it could have slipped by me.
Any new items you can't explain?

The map was last modified September 21, I would think if it was anything new it would be a more recent date.

ohh thanks just a thought ^.^ but i was looking up the word chef on the show wizard and came across the item "chef spatula" maybe we have to get him one of those..and the item doesnt seem to appear on neoitems
