Hmm... What do I do after I've talked to the chef. He says something about scarabs and I told the correct prophecy and got covered in scarabs.

Edit:

Now you have to find the foreman in the repository (at second floor, row 20, column 5). He is now a chef. Talk to him. Then visit the gift shop. There you will be given an Empty Vial. Equip the vial and fight a Spirit of the Ruins in the Battledome. You do not need to win the battle, just use the vial as a weapon against him and it will become a Smoky Vial. Then you can withdraw from the fight by going to the Status page. Unequip the vial and take it to the gift shop. There you will get a t-shirt. Bring this to the Chef/ex-foreman and he will give you a Useless Crystal.

If I'm supposed to do the above then can someone tell me where I can find the gift shop?

Where can I find a map of the gift shop?

Why do I have 3 plot related BD challengers -
Qasalan Mummy 550,
Spirit of the Ruins 50,
Scordrax 150.

But other people seem to only have 2 challengers and don't have Qasalan Mummy?

I don't know if this has been posted before, I was all weekend on real world and didn't come ot neopets or PPT

I see that you can actually pick the scrolls and your pet can read them. So far I had some messages like this:

I never knew that before.

Your pet reads the scroll and hopefully learns something!

Messages from the pet vary, but in escence are the same. Maybe each of us has to find a color/shape/symbol scroll combination to read and solve the mystery.

Got back and reread the posts, but now the question is regarding the mistery of the scrolls, what are they for and in what order must we read them now...

Is the order personalized?

Yes, that was in splits 89 and 90, I think. And some people are making maps of all of the scrolls in the entire scroll repository, too, but they're not certain it will be worth the effort. As long as you have your crystal, experiment away!

Are the scrolls unique or do they repeat? I saw someone mention that there were 5 different sizes of each scroll but I havn't noticed if the scrolls repeat (and I can't sign on to Neo where I am)

Scrolls repeat, but at different ratios. There are also rumors that not every possible scroll can be found.

I have a theory but I am locked out of my temple right now...Has anyone tried to re enter the translation to the statue? perhaps the cyrstal is ment to reflect back to the statue?

I was thinking about it last night and wondering if we should try going to blue rectangular doors in the Temple. I mean, the Useless Crystal is Square and Blue.

Might try going to Nubia and reading her the prophecy again and see if the UC does reflect back.
