In answer to the questions about what you can do with your crystal:

if you use your quickstock feature you can see that stocking the crystal in your shop or donating it are not options either.

I put mine in my SDB.

Yep, I know it's been said before, but I agree on the Lenny Conundrum thing, if only because of the hexagonal shape and corresponding colour on the scroll's symbols. It could also be TNT jerking us around again.

Or it could be our Rosetta Stone.

No worries! If it was a total stranger I would not accept it. Of coarse I was selfish and more worried about it messing up my ability to continue on the plot.

Since I solved th LC immediately upon looking at it, I'm goning to see if I can logic out a pattern. The colors being the same as the new scrolls is too much to ignore.

I'm sorry to sound rude, being the morale officer and all, but will people quit posting about the LC. Looking back on it, it seems just to be a heads up on things to come. Repository exploration may be a dead end too. I bet the inaccessible rooms are inaccessable because of a glitch in the coding. I agree with the theory that the basement leg of the 'hidden' stairs will have what we want. I even searched the basement when following the stairs was young (didn't post because others did for me). Oh well! Like the others, I'm heading off for the night. Since I'll be sleeping and then working on a major project most of tomorrow, it will be up to the rest of you to keep up morale. Elric, more of your goofy smilies. The rest of you, more jokes. About one every ten posts (each, not total) should do fine. Peace out. Good night, and good luck.

Um... I guess I'm a little behind everybody again. But how is the chef/foreman guy supposed to give you a vial? I've tlaked to him a couple times and nothing's happened...

You have to go to the Gift Shop after talking to him to get the vial.

I've being looking at the pentagon colours of the Lenny Conundrum.

What I do see is that there are :
6 green
6 white
5 violet(mauve?)
3 blue
6 red
6 yellow
5 orange

Now, is there a pattern of colours in the racks?

You get the vial from the gift shop after talking to the chef(and you have to have gotten scarabed too)

In other news....
I've read about 275-280 of the 420 scrolls. I haven't found any of the following:
Red fer
Red tep
Yellow saf
Yellow tep
Blue ahn
Blue Djo
Blue set


My statue symbol is saf, in case anyone was wondering

what I am wondering is: how many total scrolls are there in the repository?

how many total racks would also work

Hmmm, thats a good question. Sorry, can't help you there, I've only been keeping track of what scrolls I've read, not how many times.

(With all due respect, Sky, I will post when I think anything is "up" just like anyone else will; I read the forums as much as you. Even Elric checked out the LC; if you don't wish to, no need for the extra post on your end in my opinion since it is also just one extra to read. I don't ask you to stop posting your long stories, although they are only slightly-directly-plot-related and quite frankly very distracting, in my opinion.)

I noticed that the blue and purple letters of the LC spell "SEE CHART" but again, giving Sky and the forum the benefit of the doubt, it could be nothing. I don't claim to have any answers, but more questions don't hurt.

Thanks for the help guys. I was sitting there trying to figure out how I was gonna mug the chef to get him to give me the vial. Guess violence wasn't needed after all

Now me and my friend both got the useless crystal... have to wait to figure out if it really is useless or if there is some reason why we have them

there are some others too:
Purple: chart or ratch
Green: vows if (or move the s to if or switch the order of the two)
Blue: see
orange: yes to(i think there were some others also but that was the combination that seemed most likely)

possible something about we'll see if amira says yes to jazans proposal(thats where the vows part comes in)? although thats a little far-fetched, i admit

Edit: Well, I'm off to bed now like the rest of the sane folks were hours ago. Hopefully some sence of this will be made by the time I get up tomorrow morning(or more likely, afternoon)

I've now checked every scroll rack on the 1st floor and there isn't a single one of my temple scroll (Blue Fer) there. Although this doesn't prove anything it does suggest that we're on the right track in looking for this scroll. It also seems likely that the 'locked-off' areas of the temple are probably where the single copy of this scroll is lurking. My feelings are that the chef's veggies (or fruit or whatever it was) have been delivered to whoever was expecting the crystals and returning the crystal will get us chef's fruit and he will give us access to these locked areas (he was afterall the building etc foreman). Exactly who wants the crystal is beyond me right now so I'm off to bed to sleep on it.
