Ok let's recap

so we have a crystal and got robbed of a wonderful t-shirt.

There are secret stairs somewhere.

Have you tried to read the scroll once you got the crystal?

All right, can someone try clicking on each and every spot on the 2nd 5th and 4th floors to try to find secret stairs? I'm doing the 3rd. 1st and basement can wait for at least a little while.

I'm starting to think that someone at neopets goofed with the programing. The new stairs from the 3rd floor go to the old stairs on the second floor. Shouldn't they go to the new stairs? And then those stairs go the first floor.

I've already searched for "secret" stairs on the basement and 3rd floor in likely places.

wow - things are flying now - i decided to go away and watch the DOOM movie and come back to crazyness - took a while to get caught up on the posts

Maybe we need to collect crystals and other gems like in NQ. We use them to make a weapon to defeat Scordax (sp?). Too far-fetched?

I haven't got the crystal yet but I've got a question, can the crystal be equiped? Maybe you should fight against the two head dragon with it

Right now I'm maping out the relations between floors. Hopefully I can find something we've overlooked...

No it can't be equipped. And it can't be repaired at donny's repair shop either.

If you go up to the top floor and follow the path to the right corner some of those staircases become accessible.

You notice that the crystal has holes in the top and bottom, as if it fits somewhere. Clue?

All right, I've figured out that the new stairways DON'T match up floor to floor, whereas (I assume) the original ones do. Hmm.
