Well, got beaten badly by Scordrax for lack of a worthy freezing item. yes Chatobino (now a grey Meerca thanks to the lab) has 170 Hp but he is a level of 5 (thanks to the lab) and has a defense of 9 (not really sure if I still need to thanks the lab there though)
Well thanks for the advice anyway. At least I've beaten the Spirit five times and have not exhausted yet my capacities.
I just feel sorry for the Neopets owners that can't beat The Spirit.

My 1st shot is H4K, Downsize!, Sink
That's about exactly what I do

The only big differences are the ability in the first shot (I use drain life to take some health away from him and add it to my own) and I use a Sword of Skardsen in stead of the downsize, so I already deal some damage in the first round too... Maybe you can give that a shot? If you manage to survive for 10 rounds, then maybe you can already take some hitpoints away in the first round and don't give him the chance to even think about healing himself

ahhhhhhhh LOL
This match was a draw!
Neither pet has won the fight!
At least I didnt lose this time. But yes its that 2nd shot, that Im not doing enough damage and then hes healing on the next one.
So yes, you are 100% correct Im needing a stronger weapon to get his hit points down on that freeze shot..
SS:)

Aaargh, isn't there some rule against using jade scorchstone EVERY SINGLE TURN??? For lack of a freezing item, my strategy has been use Jubjub Helmet of Doom/Mighty Jubjub sword (good weapons, both of them) every turn until he gets under 100, then throw Honey Potion and Illusens Earth Potion at him and fierce attack him... And out of 4 times, EVERY SINGLE TIME he's healed at that point. Gaaaah. And after that, I just have no chance at all.

I wish that 1p opponents had to abide by the same rules that we do. It really doesn't seem fair.[/quote]

Bah, the Spirit was a bit too easy. I'm going to try Scordrax but I very much think I will get my bum kicked as my pet has following stats:
Health : 98 / 83
Strength : EXCELLENT (43)
Defence : heavy
Move : GREAT (32)
Purple Sticky Hand, Lesser Healing Scroll, Snowglobe Staff, Genie Orb, and 2 Stone Muffins.

The Spirit kicked my butt.
Man.. I just suck.
Well, I don't go often into the battledome as it is.. so I guess it was common sense that I would lose.

Great! I go away for most of a day and only a couple people want to make a LDP movie

. Oh well! At least no one changed my cast.
[sarcasim]Yay! BD challenge bonaza. My super weak pets are estatic. Hurrah![/sarcasim] Bah. At least the non-puzzlers have something to do. Still looking for a 12th thing to analyze.
PS: If anyone has some super BD items that they want to 'loan' me...

I beat the spirit 7 times....and tied with the two headed scorchio....
Is there even a point to this? Or is it just something TNT decided to throw out to occupy us with?

Same with me! The worst part is , i got him down to 18 in the first turn, but he did 60 damage!!

i really have to train.

I've been around for a long time, but I've never taken the time to train my pets. Can someone give me some help? I never really wanted to be in the the wars/battle dome before, and I've never managed to beat anything over lvl 21 (one-player).
Here's the run-down of my pets:
Lupe:
Lvl : 10 Str : 14 Def : 19 Mov : 14 Hp : 10 / 10
Strength : great Defence : godly Move : cheetah
Lupe (newest pet):
Lvl : 2 Str : 6 Def : 8 Mov : 7 Hp : 12 / 12
Strength : average Defence : average Move : average
Kougra (fav. pet!, most likely to fight with):
Lvl : 14 Str : 19 Def : 16 Mov : 17 Hp : 21 / 21
Strength : titanic Defence : bulletproof Move : mach 1
Ixi:
Lvl : 7 Str : 17 Def : 16 Mov : 22 Hp : 21 / 21
Strength : titanic Defence : bulletproof Move : GREAT (22)
How do I get my pets stronger?
What equipment do people suggest?
How do I increase HP?
What can I do to actually be able to fight? I took my strongest pet against the spirit and lost FAST!
If someone could write/neomail/e-mail/ppt personal message me and PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that'd be GREAT!

Blech...none of me pets even have a chance, since I moved my battle pet over to another account to make room for Zerakaith... >.<;
Thing is, I don't really want to spend all that money on training, since I'm not a big battler anyway. It appears to me that having a battling pet is one of the biggest neopoint-sinks that one can have... and I don't even try and kid myself that I can make enough for a battling pet to be trained. -.-;
So...have fun, two headed neopet-munching thing. My pets will be staying well away from you.

The Laboratory helps to increase stats (sometimes decreases).
Also, if you plan on using the Lab, your pets can be zapped to other species so if you are going to buy them equipment make sure it is not species-specific.
The Healing Spring helps, too. Go there every 1/2 hour.
Coltzan's Shrine. Go there at the right times. Info can be found on this website I believe.
Buy Bottled Faeries, go to the Swashbuckling Academy.
I've only been doing Battledome for a little while myself (playing
Defenders of Neopia off and on) but am slowly working on buffing my Pets up right now for this Plot. If you have a lot of neopoints it does help. I have only 3 million and keep chipping away at it but I play games a few times a week and rack up about 50,000 neopoints to help in the training.
Good luck!
