Two basements in a row the first of which I gave up on after waiting an hour for a bench to be cleaned only to have someone else take it How anyone can place 300+ items is quite beyond me.

Are we not able to place items where theives have already stolen. I've tried twice to place a scroll rack in a place a theif has taken it and it doesn't place the rack.

I know we talked a little psychology last night, but I just realized something about this current task. TNT is using this task as a psychological test. It exposes the distrust and lack of communication between the players. Fortunately for us here, we work together so well. It is a nice test of how well the Neopets users work together or at least encourage us to do so. Now that we all know this, don't tell any non-PPT serfs or else they will unite and rise up.

It does work eventually (if someone doesn't beat you to it which seems to happen more often than not!) but I can't work out if that's due to a certain amount of time elapsing since it was stolen or the spot being 'cleaned'.

does anyone know of any free lamp spaces in the basement? The ID sent me down here and there are no free spaces that i can see.

Do we hve any evidence at all that placing furniture without seeing the ID doesn't work? We are told that we have to see the ID to be told where to place each piece and yet it's possible to place one without seeing him and there are people doing so. I would guess that if there is a "reward" for all this furniture shifting that pieces placed in the "wrong" position (anywhere without seeing the ID first) aren't going to count but I don't know for sure. It's even possible that these pieces are the ones being 'stolen' - perhaps the ID is sending them back?
