the L.C.? You dont have to do it. I dont even think you have to do the plot if you dont want to as you'll have the chance just to fight if you want to.

I have tried several times to click on the icons in the story after getting my tablet and reading the scroll. I can't get this to work. Any advice? Is there anything I should see once I click on the paw thing, its my first one. Is there any way to reset this so I can start over?? I clicked the paw a couple of time the first time I tried, so my guess is i'm off by those clicks. any help would be wonderful. Thank you!

If you're holding CTRL as you click, stop it!
Also, try clearing your cookies and internet history and try again 
Make sure you don't have pop-ups blocked too. Someone I was talking to last night had the same problem and this combination solved it for her.

did anybody else find a Desert Scimitar (TCG) in their inventory? i just did. could it be because i entered the RC? i don't remember picking it up with my sand, either.

nothing here... probably found it somewhere and reloaded over the random event

it doesn't show up when i search for Trading Cards on the dropdown or when i search for TCG. weird. but if no one else has one, then i suppose it doesn't mean anything.

You really don't see anything when you click each icon that tells you it took. You don't see anything pop up until the end after you get through all of them. I happen to be hooked up to a router where I get my internet connection, and there's a light there that blinks whenever there's traffic, and it blinked with every click, so I knew something was happening, but there was nothing on the computer screen that did anything. So you just have to be careful and go in the right order and trust that it's working.
I found it helpful to have multiple windows open, one with the tablet, one to the plot, and one to the instructions on the first page here telling which page each symbol was on.

do you have all 12 tablets done? if not, youll see it highlight but it wont mean anything until you get them all done. i know it's a silly question but ya never know.

Could have ben a random event you missed seeing. They Neomail you when you win Random Contests. You can double check by seeing if you got the avatar/ trophy.
