Subtle hints are sometimes the best hints, I think. Sure ... many times one can up with a "Hint: " type of clue ... other times, we just can't.
There are plenty of hints in the thread ... but it is a *riddle* ... and you just need to figure out the answer to it. We can't give much more guidance than we already have ... without just saying the answer.
With that said ... I'm going back to thinking about the plot, again, as well.

I think I got the answer once I took the time to read the riddle over and over and over and over. And with the int of it being 1 word

*stares* *slaps forehead* At first, I didn't get the hints people were throwing out, but now I do. However, I completely dropped the ball on this one when I tried to answer it.
