But you won't know what symbol to look for. Trial and error.

But if you want those tablet pieces you'll need to follow the next part of that post...

i found a blue oval and i got the jelly blob.....what does that mean?

You'll be locked out for an hour, and you now know that your statue isn't in that room.

ok do i use this before or after the piece from pymariad? thats why i was confused, i had no idea what the heck a parament was... someone should add that to the front page.

You can find your faerie at any time. Some people prefer to find the faerie first, some prefer to wait until all the tablet pieces have been found, and some others do it somewhere in between. After you find all your tablet pieces and figure out your prophecy you will need to go find your faerie, though, so keep that in mind.

A parchment is a clue which directs you towards your tablet pieces. The first parchment piece/clue is found after playing pyramids.

does the other dot sequence have anything to do with the next one? or is it just the first?

I just registered today but have been reading the posts for a few weeks and wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for all the helpfull information.

Does anyone know where to view the entire Lost Desert deck of cards online? Since everyone's prophecy was a variation of "the ancient prince will make vanish the desert capital" (mine) and something like that is on one of the cards maybe there is another card that we need to twist around for a second prophecy? Just a thought...

You should check the WOTC (Wizards of the Coast) website first since a lot of the cards on the Neopets site are mysteriously missing.

Edit: Hey! 100 posts!

...just so i can get this idea out there...someone from another site said there is more to the prophecy cus there isn't no period at the end.
I think its nothing but if i put that thought out there maybe someone will run with it and find something.

If you look at the first page of this topic, there is a list of which dot you have to follow on which parchment. For the pyramids parchment, you only use the clue under 1 dot. Disregard everything else. Just check out the list of clues on the first page and you shouldn't get too lost.

Sometimes, things will make alot more sense as you start doing them.

Follow the instructions from the first post.

Talk with Fortune Teller: Read her clue. The fortune teller is directing you to play a game of pyramids ... that's how you find the parchment. Go to the tomb that is described under the one dot. Get your first piece ...

Then ... follow the instructions further ... by going back to the fortune teller and seeing her clue has changed. You will have to go elsewhere ... find a *new* parchment ... and go to the place under the 2 dots.

So on and so forth.

This is an excellent point ... I hadn't really noticed there wasn't a period at the end of our prophecy.

I keep hearing variations of why there is a sign on the statue (which I found about an hour ago), and the most popular one is probably that I need to find it in a library to understand it and tell it the prophecy? But I don't find this to be true because I told it my prophecy without reading any scrolls except the ones in the beginning when I didn't know what the hell they were for - and I don't think any of them was the one on the statue, so does anyone actually know why it's there?

UPDATE: Reading the above post, earlier I stated that the second part (if it exists) might have something to do with the princess. So check this out:

The ancient prince will make vanish the desert capital (or whatever your prophecy is) and marry the princess.

Someone wanna check that? I'm locked out right now.

Updatex2: What if we don't know the second part of the prophecy 'til it happens?

Just an idea...maybe we can offer those having trouble with the plot or understanding the first page of the thread individualized help off this board? Like through PM, AIM or other methods. We could have a group of people volunteer to to help if they wanted ("hey I have a question..." "oh, I can help you, just PM me). That way the same things don't get repeated and bury new ideas and speculations (like mine did *sniff* hehe, jk)...plus people won't get annoyed like they did earlier.

It would make for a cleaner board and offer more focused help for those who need it. :D

PS: I'll be more than glad to help if I'm on...just msg me via the options below. :)

Just registered today, and wanted to thank you for the excellent help you've got posted here.

Someone posted al ink to a .swf file earlier, and I opened it up in Flash (not the Player). It's the page frame for the Lost Desert comics, without the individual page inside it. I didn't see an "ice arrow"...

That's not to say that it isn't included when they plug the page into the frame. I might not be looking at it right, either, since Flash isn't my specialty.

and marry the pricess.

Just tried it, didn't work but it was a great idea anyway :P

Tried my idea?

Mon Sep 19, 2005 1:59 am

Okay... I just wanted to give everyone an update on an idea I posted a few days ago.

I have been going through every room marked the same as my statue (the flags) hoping to find the gift shop... so far to no avail and I have been through 20 rooms. I still have a few left. I am starting to believe that I will have to open all of the doors to find it... at least it is killing time until we figure something out.

PS - If I don't reply soon, it is because I am sharing the computer with my boyfriend today. *sigh* He is a neopet addict too.

He meant pinch it. So make it as skinny and long as you can.
