It's starting to get weird now. Maybe we do have enough hints to translate the tablet? I'm not sure, is it supposed to take this long before we get a new hint?

If we do have enough clues, I don't think any of us are willing to explore as long as this hacker problem seems present. I almost never go to user areas, but I'm too nervous to play the games and just wonder the map like I normaly do.

My guess is we're going to get something to do after Princess Amira gets kidnapped in the next chapter.

Where on earth did you hear she was going to be kidnapped? I severely doubt the king of Sakhmet would give consent for the marriage of his daughter and her captor (see the Forgotten Promise TCG card) or is she kidnapped by someone other than Prince Jazan? Please link me to where you read about the kidnapping.

Don't worry you'll be safe. There was no "hacking" of the Neopets site, just a few shops and userlookups were embedded with a "cookie grabber". As long as you stay away from suspicious shops (usually with really cheap items) and the userlookup of said shop owners you'll be fine.

I believe this was just Jas' guess on what is going to happen in the next part of the story. Personally I think Jazan is going to send his army of the undead to attack Sakhmet in an attempt to kidnap the princess, which is when war is going to break out.

Of course this is just my theory, like the many others out there. Pure speculation.

Kidnaping seems very unlikely. Jazan seems to just set up shop in the place judging by the cards. Unless he brings his ruins back to life and takes Amira there, all the action seems centered around Sakhmet. He may just lock Amira in a room or dungeon and take over. We'll probably have to both save Amira and fight Jazan.

anyone know if you go in a library and don't want to read one of the scrolls, will it let you back out in an hour, or do you have to read one and be locked out for the full 12?

People know the difference between a hacker and someone who puts cookie grabbers on a site. I don't think you need to point out there is no "hacking" more than once really.

Suffice to say when people are losing accounts through no fault of their own they can usually call what happened whatever they like. Someone placing cookie grabbers on the neopets site, a trusted site, is as close to hacking as people are going to get. Considering hacking never meant what it can do now originally I don't see any reason for people (and this happens every time someone mistakenly uses the word hacker to do with a neo problem) to jump out and tell us all over and over again what is and isn't a hacker. We know it isn't a hacker, that doesn't mean people can't use the word hacker to describe it - it's a heck of a lot shorter than "person who has placed cookie grabbers on their userlookup/shop". And if you point it out everytime someone says the word you're gonna be repeating yourself an awful lot! People get enough grief about word use on the neoboards if they are unaware it's a bad idea to post there about losing accounts, generally people here know the score.

All the info you need about what is safe and what isn't is on the thread ScottNak posted, some people just prefer to be on the safe side and stay away from the site. After all there are other things to be doing!

You'll still get locked out for the full 12 hours, so if you've already entered you might as well read a scroll.

'Nothing' is not the right term to use. 'Empty' space is still filled with countless virtual particles. Nothing is just a codeword for something. Just because we can't see it doesn't mean it is there.

I didn't say you were correcting anybody, just putting down my opinion. It happens everytime something like this happens - people are not confused as to the meaning of a word so really there is no need to point it out. And there is no need to refer to a post as "long winded" ta.

As for "nothing", like I say I'm not a word-nazi so it doesn't really matter if it isn't the right word now does it?

Which parchment are you on at the moment? Remember that the dots on the parchments correspond with which number parchment you're on.

The simple answer is yes, however I am going to put you into one of two categories.

1) You didn't map (big mistake).
or
2) You did map (good for you) but you repeated a few rooms. In this case, partially re-map.

Somebody on the Neoboards is saying that to translate your tablet you have to go to the comics and find clickable symbols and thenn click them in the order they appear on your tablet. There are *supposedly* 4 in each of the first three chapters and they *supposedly* glow when you pass your cursor over them.
