i have never once got a good paint out of the lab... the closest is my christmas scorchio (but it's not that good). My poor Zafara keeps getting changed into horrible things. First a green pteri then electric, then a yellow meerca, then brown (YUCK!), then a red skeith (kinda good cause then I got the skeith avy), then a Green Aisha, then a blumaroo (and I can't get rid of this pet.. i hate blumaroos).. she was yellow, then shadow, and now is an ugly mutant. Why can't I get a rare paint?

I'm one of those "foster" people - I adopt, heal, feed, zap and put up for adoption again. I was (note *was*) doing ok with stats/colors. I got an island zafara and an island eyrie in a week once. Had people begging me for them!

Now? I adopted another eyrie (I look for good names, not species or gender). Got nothing but stat decreases for awhile. Then the ray turned the eyrie into a red buzz. We're talking just about a month ago now. All I keep getting is stat increase/decrease and once a week or so gender change ... grrr. I want it to at least change species (I can get the avatar) and maybe it'll change into something decent to I can adopt it out.

Only positive is she's gone from 7 to 79 hp in the last month. At least hp can't be taken away!

You're lucky to have got a 1.5 mil paintbrush color 3 times in a month, but it seems it isn't the luck you wanted!

I don't like painted Shoyrus anyway. My Shoyru's blue, and it's staying blue!

EDIT: Looked at your user lookup. 6 TIMES color changed. Half the time it's Darigan! Your Shoyru must be EVIL!

EDIT 2: How did you get so many trophies in 3 months?

To tell you the truth, I don't like Darigan Shoyrus. They're... err... pretty ugly

Yeah the lab ray turned my draik into darigan also, been staying like that for a while... I'm just glad its darigan and not a species changed, i spent a lot for that draik egg!

I wouldn't even try the lab on my draik O_- I'd be too scared she'd turn into a mynci and really be pwned by the lab!

All that happens to me is minus stats and always ALWAYS changing a good paint job to a green crappy pet (Uni, Mynci, Tuskinanny...)
