Was wondering if this thread might have died :-p
It's now a certain fact that you can only win one piece per hour.
On the other hand, I think that that person's rank prize is forfeited to the next player... so there aren't any pieces being lost.

which is the easiest games to play to win?

What games are you good at? I find Volcano Run extremely easy to get pieces in, and Faerie Bubbles, Destruct-O-Match II, Meepit Juice Break and Whack-A-Kass fairly easy, too. However, those are games I've played a lot and gotten good at, and other people may find them really hard. It all depends on your skill.

Hiya,
I was just wondering if all maps give the same prizes?
Is it better to complete a certain map?
SS:)

Cranberry, I can't even play Volcano Run, do awful at the other games you're good at. At least there's no competition for pieces there, right?
ssandgirls, all the maps can give different things. Some people get rare(r) petpets, pb ... and others get a codestone from the same map. Me? I sell the pieces, I know I have no luck with chance type things.
I'd say just find the games you're good at (or if you're like me, semi-good at and hope for some luck) and enter those WC. I think? the Neopia Central is the most common map -- probably because there's so many games in NC.

I think they've changed it yet again - now you have to send three scores to be eligible to win a map peice for the hour. This is going to be especially annoying for those longer games like Raiders of Maraqua - It takes up to half an hour to get a decent score.
High Score for the hour wins a picture piece, but is not eligible for winnings by placing in the list below! Minimum 5 players required.
Players in the top 0 places listed below with a minimum of 3 scores submitted each player win a picture piece for their World Challenge Gallery!

I saw that change when it first appeared, but now a few minutes later they've changed it again.

Maybe we can win two pieces an hour again!

I guess I don't understand the part in red... Does that mean we have to play at least 3 times an hour to get a piece? That's ridiculous.

It
is ridiculous.
Warf Rescue Team is the only game I'm good at, and once I send 2 scores, the hour is over! It's fine for short games, so I guess it's a good idea. But for longer games, it isn't a good idea. :

Thankfully I can get the high score for mootix drop easily enough...

There are boards about this, alot of people including me, are very frustrated and annoyed about this change.
So now, you won't get a piece if you're the highest score unless there's 5 people, and everyone who does enter a WC has to score 3 times. Fine for the shorter games, but there are going to be alot of games where people will either not bother with the WC or try to get friends to almost "throw" the game by scoring just enough to be allowed and playing fast to get those 3 plays in.
It's almost impossible to get 3 decent scores in an hour for sutek's tomb and petpetsitter. Carnival of Terror, depending on how many clocks, how much health and ammo you get can also take awhile.
So our choices seem to be - don't even bother with the WC; get some of your friends to all play a particular game for the hour just to get enough people and hope they'll all be able to stay for an hour to send 3 scores; find a WC game that has some players (that you yourself can play), look at the high score and just try to get one game higher, then toss the other 2 out.
I think the reasoning was to try to stop the people who've been cheating by using 2 (or more!) accounts to play the same game so they can be assured of getting a game piece. But this isn't the way to stop those people - in fact, I think it'll encourage cheating.

Doesn't affect the guy that was in my guild that we got rid of a few days ago... The amount of cheating he did was insane. He had 4 or 5 accounts and used them all to play various games with the low score abuse so that his main account won a ton.
Though I also see the abuse where you're coming from.

It makes perfect sense.
If a game works better for long game plays, you can go for the high score.
If a game works better for multiple plays, a minimum of 3 games is hardly a stretch.
The only real complaint is that now you have EARN your prizes and np instead of exploiting the system.

If it takes long games, it works well for one person per hour and interest could diminish so that no one gets a prize.
