I had a hard time beating the Giant Ghostkerchief too. This is what I did.

1. Primary Multi-Use Weapon + Secondary Multi-Use Weapon + DL
2. Downsize! + Freezer + Sink/Burrow/Defend
3. HP + Bomb (I suggest you buy a water muffin or something) + Berzerk
4. Primary Multi-Use Weapon + Secondary Mutli-Use Weapon + Specie Attack
5. Repeat step 4 until opponent is dead and if you need to heal using restore or the like (but don't run out of energy!)

My suggestion to you is to train your level a bit more so you can take advantage of berzerk and any specie attacks your pet might have. I'm not too worried about your strength because I was able to beat him when I had the same boost you have and our defence was at the same boost as well.

Thanks!

IDB is currently down n I was wondering what is the level required for berserk? :)

Btw is my primary weapons lineup sufficiently strong enough to beat him?

Bezerk isn't needed. You can last without it, however, you still have to be very powerful to beat a challenger like that...

Any other advice from other battledomers?

-Get the 200 str boost.
-Get a weapon that's a little stronger, like Cblade.
-Do NOT use heavy dark.
-Freeze him first turn, and berzerk him on the 2nd turn.

Someone posted over at IDB that a Double Dryer may help a lot, as it reflects air (and his weapons do a lot of air). You can pick one up for under 3K.

The strategy from IDB (requires 125 strength boost):

Turn 1: Freezer, Dryer, Defend (start over if he half-kills you)
Turn 2: Your best bomb plus a good one-use bomb like Water Muffin
Turn 3: Good one-use bomb, Dryer, Burrow
Turn 4: Main attacker, Dryer, Sink

Then he should apparently be dead. I don't know if it works or not. I'm waiting until I've finished training to the 125 boost (half a month or so) before I attempt him again. I did manage to tie him once with the 85 boost, but that was a fluke. He didn't use the ghostkersword or bomb until the last round, and he didn't heal at all. Usually he kills me when he has 35 or so HP left.

I just beat up to Mission 15 so far with just 2 weapons:

Sword of Skardsen + Slumberberry Potion

Thats the opponent I'm currently up to as well, I think it will take me awhile to get to the stage of beating him though. Good luck to all those training for the Giant Ghostkerchief :)

How rare is it to get them when refreshing at Maraqua Weather page?

Try him when you get to 125 strength (that's the next boost for you). I just hit 125 strength tonight and used the above strategy, and I beat him on my second try.
