Edit: Has A Pet Eaten a Petpet?

I have a couple of petpetpet queries that I'm hoping you wise people will know the answers to

Firstly is the theory of not being able to attach a petpetpet with the same number of letters in its name as the target pet true or a load of codswallop? I've been searching through the forums and I've seen some people suggesting it is true, others saying it isn't and I haven't found anyone who has attached a petpetpet with the same number of letters in its name as the target pet who can disprove it.

Secondly, the Aboogala:



Listed on neoitems as searchable I think only one or two have ever been found. Any theories as to why this petpetpet alone is so much rarer than the rest?

Edit: another question, heh. Skieths and Grarrls eat anything and everything and I've heard they even steal things from your inventory and eat them like some petpets do. Does this mean it's more risky when attaching a petpetpet (with inventory full of junk) if you own one of those pets?

Also I know some petpets eat stuff (like the Scado) - can they only eat certain items or are your petpetpets in inventories at risk here too?

I'd like to know more about the Aboogala as well, it would look so cute with one of my pet/petpet combos but I can never find one
Also, I think as long as your Grarrl or Skeith isn't hungry it won't take anything... not sure though.

If not, you can fill your inventory with junk and try.

I think I've got most of my answers...like you said metalmario skeiths and grarrls won't steal stuff if they're hungry so that should be okay. The aboogala seems to be somewhat of a mystery, I guess either it was meant to be uber rare or they messed up when they released it Petpets appear to only eat food items, and only the items right next to them. I don't know about my first question but since I can't find any thing about it I'm going to guess it isn't true or I'm sure we would have heard a lot more about it.



One thing I am curious about though - if grarrls and skeiths can steal anything to eat, has anyone ever heard of a petpet being grabbed out of their inventory and eaten? I know you can feed them petpets most likely like you can with the jetsam, but I'm curious as to whether they would steal them and eat them too.

Unless the pet is hungry, it won't eat out of your inventory -- so keep the ravenous pets like Graarls bloated.

When they *are* hungry, though, they've been known to steal & eat the likes of Honey Potions, so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with petpets or petpetpets.
